Amen to that, though Rose was always a risky pick. The others though are definitely a series of unfortunate events.

Roy Hibbert, you're my biggest regret.

I'm not down for the count but I am beat up. I've got 7 players in the top60 on per-game, but 4 of them (Curry, Harden, Lin, Ariza) have missed multiple games each over my last two matchups. It's definitely cost me categories.

I'm just hoping to tread water until everyone gets healthy. Thus I'm also hoping everyone gets healthy. :-P

yes he was a risky pick but not for missing the season and definitely not because of his left knee meniscus being torn... don't forget that he worked on his knees for 18 months. That's too much time to have a setback.

the risk was him playing worse than his normal self, and he certainly wasn't playing at a high level. Which most of the owners were ok with, since he was probably gonna get better as the season moves along.

There's always a risk of additional injury after a major injury like that, whether it's a flare up, or another injury based on favoring the previous injury (i.e. his left Meniscus).

Either way, that's a big chunk of bad luck you've been dealt, and I have to admit, the injury thing has made me question my dedication to fantasy sports more than a few times.

yeah you are right, after such a big injury as in ACL tear, the body and the mind sometimes overcompensate and favor the leg unconsciously.

btw, 6 seasons ago, on one of my teams had (if I remember correctly) 8 injured players while having only 5 healthy. Then came the news that Jarrett Jack was in a car accident and at that moment I probably broke the all-time fantasy record, where I had 9 injured guys at the same time, on a 13 man team.

That day I knew that fantasy was way too much luck based than people give credit for.

The thing is I got Ilyasova, Butler & Redick on multiple teams, now they are all in shambles.

Wow, I usually only deal with 4, max. You've got me beat by far.

I have a double header of sorts going on this week. I'm facing off against JFrost in both FFL and FFDL. Here's to the sweep.

That's one of the reasons I prefer the dynasty league to you anual pick leagues. You lose a Rose you know he is a complete waste because you should get him back next year.

If I pull out 4 categories against 3si I'm going to count it as a win, especially since I've got Marc Gasol injured and 3si's team is solid this year

Out of all my team I forget to play CP3. I leave 15 assists and 3 steals on the brunch along with a win for the week. Unless Jordan Crawford goes crazy.....

every time fraan sends a preposterous trade offer, I'll post it here. I think this one is by far the worst offer I've seen, even by fraan standards...

Conley - Ryan Anderson - Plumlee - Tucker
for
Vucevic - Pierce - Norris Cole - Leuer

All fran offers I've ever received are preposterous. He should just post them directly here as he makes them, to save us time.

tkunit, I left a player in the bench this week too. It was Scola so not nearly as bad.
14/6/0/0 vs 13/7/15/3
So I definitely got the better end of our mutual mistakes unless I lose points by 1, and lose steals and assists anyway. But I might win steals and assists now, so yeah, that may have cost you pretty big.

I think you were just trying to make it a sporting chance for me given Lin has missed the entire matchup with injury.
