Game 17, Pacers vs. Blazers
2nd game of a back to back in the toughest road streak for us this season. Paul George looking silky smooth so far, let's end this Blazer streak.

Re: Game 17, Pacers vs. Blazers
This may have been the best game in the NBA this season. Portland played amazing but missed 4 of 5 shots at the end, the only thing that saved them was us fouling them and getting them to the line.
George almost pulled off a Reggie. Incredible player.

That was a really good game. Both teams are for real, although Danny Granger's absence is felt in games like this when Lance fouls out.

Yeah, but i wonder why didn't Watson return after he fouled out? He was playing great all game. Not that it would of made much of a difference i don't think.

Re: Game 17, Pacers vs. Blazers
The big turning point IMO was when Indiana had a 8 point lead but Hibbert and West were in need of desperate rest. Vogel tried to make some subs but they play kept going, and the Blazers made us work hard and went on a little run. I think if we put some fresh bodies in there at that time, it's the Blazers chasing us in score late instead of us them, and it's us at the line trying to beat them.
I think that was a big moment in the game.

Does anyone know if leading with ur knee is aloud? Cause Aldridge did it twice and hit hibbert in the nuts both time and both times it was a foul on hibbert just wondering if that a foul or u can knee people in the nuts

We can't be mad at this lost they looked drained by the end of the third quarter. I feel like if the pacers weren't so tired from a hard fought game yesterday then the outcome probly would've been a lot different

Those two drives in by AD on Hibbert were def bizarre. Not sure what the refs saw that they didn't make the call. But, either way, gotta give credit to the Blazers. Their hot shooting gave them a big lead mid-way through the 4th, and when we came back, they drove in and went to the line after missing 4 of 5 shots. I think they ended 14-15 in the 4th from the line. Just gotta tip your head to them.

Hey guys Blazer fan dropping by, Paul George was a BEAST today, it was nothing short of amazing what he did. This was a good game and either team could've won tonight. I love the way this Pacers team is built and I'm for sure gonna root for you guys against the heat in the ECF. Best of luck guys, good game.

Thanks. Portland has a great team too. That was a fun game for sure. Wouldn't it be fun to see 7 of those in June?

As a realist I'm not sure what Portland's odds are to get past Houston, OKC, or SA in a 7 game series but as a fan that would be one heck of a finals match up.

George was insane! He hit incredible shot after shot. I'd like to see both teams play fresh instead of both having played the night before. Great battle. Take out the Heat!

Now, come on here. When you jump off of one leg, your knee goes up. That's a natural body motion in the jumping off one leg technique. Now had Aldridge stuck his leg out that would be different, but that wasn't the case and Hibbert just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Re: Game 17, Pacers vs. Blazers
Just seen the full game, to paraphrase Batman: 'holy mackerel Robin!'
What a game, it truly had everything. I can only take my hat off to the Blazers: They are legit, no question about it. LMA and Lillard are all-stars and Wes Matthews and Nic Batum should be in that conversation too.
Disappointed with Stephenson but more with the fact that we didn't have an answer for his struggle. The more I see of OJ the less impressed I am, he just doesn't possess any offensive tools that are worth talking about. He is good on D, but he is no world-beater there either. I can't wait for Granger to come back, him being there might have tipped this game in our favour.
I would love this to be the Finals, it would be exciting back and forth play. The teams match up really well.

Lance is playing really bad ball lately almost to the point it's hurting us costly turnovers and dumb shot. We defiantly need granger back soon cause lance just is providing

Re: Game 17, Pacers vs. Blazers
It was a great game. So much fun to watch. I was extremely impressed with Aldridge. If I was building a team I'd likely take Love over him, but Aldridge has been the best PF in the league this season.
I can't say I was really impressed with Lillard though. He's a great young player, but I don't see the star potential others seem to see with how deep PG is nowadays. He did hit some big shots, but they wouldn't have been close to that position without Aldridge dominating the post and Batum/Lopez playing elite D.

I think we need to work to get him involved early. He barely even had any stats at all during the first half and never got going because he mainly played off ball and didn't even see the ball until late in the shot clock. I'd rather try and get him involved early on than Hibbert. I get the idea behind involving Hibbert early, but at best he's been average on offense and doesn't really need the touches to be happy.

I actually agree with this. I knew Lance had a poor game before watching it, but as I was watching it was very obvious that he was not involved in the offense at all, there were at least three occasions I noticed that he was completely open and was not found by Hill and PG even though they were in a tough spot.
That does beggar the question though, is it because of oversight from Hill/PG24 or is it because recently when Stephenson was given the ball he went into a senseless dribble for 12 seconds without achieving anything.
