It's a 3 player discussion. LeBron, Durant and George.

CP3 is one of my favorite players, but he has a stacked damn team and everything a PG could wish for. He is my #4, and if the Clippers have a better postseason than the Heat, Thunder and Pacers then he might have a shot, but as it stands...

George is my vote. Not that he is the best player in the NBA, but he has the biggest impact on his teams current success.

Big time performance by George tonight. Guy is truly a superstar now.

LeBron
Paul George
KD
.
.
.
Chris Paul

Chris Paul just has no shot unless his team can have a top 3-4 record. Don't see it happening with that Clippers roster.

It PG continues to play this well, and they grab the number 1 seed then there is no choice other than to give it to him.
The Heat have no excuse to not have the number 1 seed in that weak eastern conference.

The only thing george has going for him is team record because hes not going to finish with better stats than lebron or durant. The pacers are now 1-1 against teams .500+. If okc or miami has a better record than george, hes not winning mvp

Paul George and Durant DESERVE to be ahead of LeBron right now.

Not because they're better players. But they are more important right now.

LeBron trolls for 2 and a half Qrts before getting serious. Its annoying.

Cant reward him for such lax play.

And before other Heat fans clown me.
YOU GUYS as well as me are in the exact same gameday threads complaining about LeBron during the 1st halves of games.

This is ridiculous. You tell him hes playing lax and yet he has the best stats of the 3.

george has improved his mid range shot tremendously this season. small sample but i think he's shooting around 49-52% from mid range. he knocked down about 5 of them vs portland alone. looks smooth as hell.

Stats are not everyone. Many players pad stats.
The heat are so good that they can play poorly and then one of the bench players like Beasley will go off and then they win the game.
I really think george or durant derserve it this year. Lebron is the best player but like MJ he can't win it every year. It would be nice to see a new player win MVP.

Lol Lebron is still no.1 . Also lets not start overrating Paul George like people did last season.

I actually think people still hate on him to much for what he is doing this year. He is averaging 24.9 points per game on a 16-2 team and the second leading scorer on the team is only averaging 12 points. I dont think it is overrating him to suggest that he is an MVP candidate.

He is clearly an MVP candidate, just not in front of lebron like some are saying. His team will have to be like 5-10 games ahead for him to win.

Miami and Indiana have the second and third easiest schedule, respectively, so far.

What has George or Durant has done that is heads and shoulders above Lebron?

The only reason the Heat are on a win streak is because of Lebron. Wade is out half the time, Bosh is just a damn jumpshooter.

Durant got a stacked team and Paul George has a stacked defensive team.

Lebron is playing on a glorified 60 win Cavs team right now, it is not like Wade is the same 25 points a game player when in the first year of the Big 3. Each year, Wade gets worse. Bosh hasn't even cracked 20 points a game with the Heat.

Lebron is MVP unless his stats just get ugly because it looked ugly when Lebron was just chilling and half assing in the beginning of the season.

When they begin to outplay him/ dominate his team in wins, it can happen.

Not just him either, Spoelstra, our bench... the whole team is playing amazing team ball, and its not all thanks to 1 man. Don't worry though, guys who say stuff like that aren't Heat fans.

How can people deny that Paul George should be a head of Lebron in this moment?! P.George is leading his team which has the best record in the league, he is an elite defender, he is shooting a good percentage from the field. In the other hand Lebron has his assist down, his rebounds down , worst assist/turnover ratio of his carrier, his defends is average in this season.

+1

Bosh is arguably 1b player for the Heat. Without him we are going nowhere. The same with Lebron.

Without Wade Miami is a contender but I doubt they would win it all.
