I'm pretty pleased with what Coach Bud has been able to accomplish so quickly. Clearly we have a man at the helm who has the ability to actually out-strategize his opponent. I rarely said that about any of our head coaches, even Lenny Wilins.
Drew, in his defense, occasionally was able to outcoach the opposition. But too often he overthought things and outfoxed himself as well.
Bud is the real deal, just the eye test alone reflects a more confident, focused, fundamentally sound team than in past years.
I'm still a bit skeptical on Ferry as GM, but his choice of Head Coach seems to be a solid one.
Now, we just need to get him some better talent.....
