I would move Johnson to the bench and keep Meeks starting. Kobe at SF is a good fit in D'Antoni's offense. And when Nash returns, move Blake to the backup SG. So when the lineup is healthy:

G - Nash/Farmar
G - Meeks/Blake
F - Bryant/Young/Henry
F - Hill/Johnson/Williams
C - Gasol/Sacre/Kaman

It's painfully apparent that L.A. needs to replace Gasol especially on the defensive end. I realize he's hurt but all year he just kills you there. For now I would trade Gasol and put Kaman in who at least hustles. Use Sacre and Hill at C, go get yourself a PF that fits this offense and can play solid defense/rebound.

The Lakers lost Nash: They get Blake, a workman's version of Nash and they improved.
The Lakers need to trade Pau: Plug-in a workman's version of him that plays defense (they may have one)

Blake/ Farmar
Kobe/ Meeks/ Henry
Johnson/ Young/ Kobe
Williams/ Hill/ Johnson
Pau/ Hill/ Kaman

I'd like to start Hill but it seems he's more productive coming off the bench + we need to have a rebounder with the 1s (Pau) and 2s (Hill).

Williams also stretches the floor which gives Kobe a better opportunity to post and attack the basket. Johnson can also play this role for short stretches.

I know this lineup and rotation looks crazy, you’re probably saying Kobe at the PG are you dumb or something, but there was a stretch last year were Kobe was playing facilitator he was averaging something like 12 assist per game which really helped his teams shooting percentage. Mike D'Antoni should have Kobe run his system for the first 3 quarters and in the 4th if Kobe needs to take over we can see the "Mamba". This is similar to how the Lakers used to play when they had Shaq, Shaq would dominate the ball for 3 quarters and in the 4th Kobe would take over and close the game.

Kobe/Blake/ Farmar / Nash
Henry / Meeks/ Blake / Farmar
Johnson/ Young/ Kobe
Williams/ Hill/ Johnson
Pau/ Hill/ Kaman

Blake(28)/Farmar(20)
Kobe(28)/ Meeks(20)
Henry(18)/ Young(25)/ Johnson(5)
Johnson(20)/ Hill(20)/Kaman(8)
Pau(30)/ Hill(11)/ Kaman(7)

With Farmar out 4 weeks Meeks, Henry and Young's minutes will only go up. I like this team a lot

I think you're going to see Kaman traded for a PF fairly soon. Then that guy starts next to Pau with the effective Williams-Hill combo off the bench, with Sacre being an effective third guy.

If they trade Kaman, they can say goodbye to ever signing respectable players to the vet min for the next 5 years. He took a very cheap deal with the promise (he said) of getting minutes. The lakers already broke one promise, if they trade him, they will look really bad.

Also, Pau and/or Hill are going down in the next 10 games.

Have a nice day.

I hope not we're going to need him in the playoffs.

D'Antoni hinted at this after Saturday practice. RT @LakersReporter: Starters on Sunday could be: Blake, Bryant, Johnson, Gasol and Sacre.
