+1

Bosh is arguably 1b player for the Heat. Without him we are going nowhere. The same with Lebron.

Without Wade Miami is a contender but I doubt they would win it all.

this can be said about basically any other team, save maybe the spurs.

because MVP is based on this season alone, not based on how well a person plays vs his career average. they have different awards for that called MIP.

and youre starting to overrate PG just like any other person. Yes PG is playing like a monster, and yes he is an elite defender.. is he leading the pacers squad or is he part of the reason the pacers squad is doing well? Obv the latter. If you think the pacers are doing well because of PG and not their team defense, then sir, you need to start analyzing another sport because clearly, basketball isnt the right sport for you.

Now imo if the pacers do have a better record than the heat, then i can see some votes going to PG over bron because of the feel good story. refer to 2010.

They are like 1 game ahead of the Heat.

So you think PG is better than CP3, Tony Parker, etc? Lol

Top 10? Sure. Top 5? Nah.

I honestly do. Don't get what's so crazy about that given his defense especially. Maybe you misundertand me man, I don't think it will last. By no means do I think by the end or even midway through the season that PG will he top 5. Right now? In the early season? Imo he is. I happened to catch a bunch of clipps games this year and CP3 is putting up nice stats but PG is doing way more with less at a more difficult position stats wise

At this exact moment in time, yes, he is. He'll probably cool off, but as of right now I'd take him over everyone not named Lebron James or Kevin Durant. It's definitely close between him and CP3, but I think he's clearly been better than Parker SO FAR.

Lebron
Durant
CP3
Dwight
Paul George

Those are probably my list of top 5 players in the nba, and not just the first 17 games.

In terms of MVP so far:

Lebron
Paul George
CP3
Durant
Dwight

Paul George is a star, he's a good player but that team will go as far as Hibbert takes them. Hibbert dominated in the Playoffs last year and it's simply because you can't just cancel him out.

PG stats this season (Per Game): 24.9 pts, 5.9 rbs, 3.4 asts(1.21 ast/to per game), 47.6% FG%, 41.12% 3pt%, 54.7% TS%, 50.6 eFG%, PER 24.7 and his playing 36.3 mins per game.

LBJ stats this season (Per Gamer): 26.2 pts, 5.8 rbs, 6.3 asts(1.8 ast/to per game), 59.8% FG%, 48.1% 3pt%, 69.4% TS%, 64.6% eFG%, PER 30.3 and his playing 35.5 mins per game.

So what exactly is George doing better than LeBron this season beside maybe playing better on the defensive end?(which has alot to do with Roy Hibbert). PG has no chance if Indiana cant get the first seed, ZERO chance.

The pacers lose without hibbert, just like the heat don't make the finals with wade. It's a team game

Well it had alot to do with LeBron's decision and Chicago's record. LeBron was a public enemy, he definetely was'nt playing as good as his Cavs days, and Chicago had the better record.
Stat wise, LeBron was better than Rose, though i think Howard was the one who should've won it in 2010-2011 season.

Really?

The guy that leads the Heat in points, rebounds and assist and you say that's team ball?

Thanks to Michael Beasley and Lebron...Wade can sit some games because he really isn't needed for scoring on the perimeter.

Chris Bosh minutes each year goes to a career low.

Without Lebron, the Heat doesn't 14-3 because he's playing 35 mins a game and nobody is playing his minutes.

Team Ball is Spurs. Team Ball isn't somebody putting in 30 Per and 35 mins a game and leading the team in Points, Rebounds and Assist for another year.

LeBron should be out of the discussion at this point. I don't know if it's the re-injured back, but he's just not playing to his usual potential.

1. Georges
2. Durant
3. CP3
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

The only thing George has over Lebron is one additional win. That is all.

In every other aspect of the game, Lebron trumps George.

Agreed.

Chris Bosh is criminally underrated on the GB. I'm going to assume its because of things such as itsreal85 and other things similar to taht where his 'comedic' side have been more of a discussion point than his play but his season that he has had to date has been unreal.

He is playing 28 minutes per game and is being super efficient.

I'm all for praising Lebron and what he has done for the Heat but too many people overlook the fact that Bosh and his skill sets coupled with the fact that he has sacrificed his game as well as his preferred position on the floor for the betterment of the Heat, and in doing so, has allowed for a smaller ball type game plan which props up the strengths of Lebron and those around him.

If the Heat had someone who predominantly a post player like a Zach Randolph, i'm not sure if we see the same offensive output.

Bosh has become underrated and underappreciated imo. He isn't on the same level in terms of importance for the Heat as James is, but he isn't that far behind.
