Pistons Power Rankings: Playoff Bound!

Post#1 » by BadMofoPimp » Wed Dec 4, 2013 7:55 pm

According to The Hollinger Power Rankings are a measure of each team's performance in the season so far, Pistons have a 74.6 of making the playoffs.

There is a 1.5% chance the Pistons can make the finals! So, there is a shot at the Finals!?!?!?!

Currently, they are rated to finish Sixth. Moving up in the world already.

http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/playoffodds

This is a solid start.

Charlotte fans are beyond done with Ben Gordon. Evidently, he is not doing a single thing right over there while he isn't even shooting well now, which is the only thing he can do well. They don't even want him to dribble, but just stand in one spot to shoot 3's when he is on the floor. But, he can't even do that now.

Think about it, Joe made the trade giving up the Pistons pick so that now, the Pistons can become a playoff team for the first time in yeaarrs with this team which also includes some very young talent.

I been waiting for this for a loong time it seams ever since the Pistons traded Billups in my opinion.

1.5% is very generous :D

This team is 50/50 to make the playoffs; with probably a 5-10% chance of getting out of the first round.

Watching the roller coaster of emotions from most of you goofs is moderately entertaining.

This forum is hilarious..

We went from title contenders to winning 10 games & getting the #1 pick, to trade everyone, were the worst team in the league w/ a coach whos a moron, Drummond is lazy, it isnt working after 10 games to now..

"everything is on track"

You gotta chill with the "Drummond is lazy" **** you've been spewing. Drummond has been lazy for several games this season. I don't mean he's lazy in a absolute sense, but relative to old Drummond.

I love how people love saying the "east is awful" yet the champs keep coming out of the east.

Who cares if the east is weaker around the middle? It means absolutely nothing.

I also know that the east plays defense, and the west just throws shots up from the 3 line.

I don't care if the 8th seed wins 82 games out west, means jack.

Its only 18 games in and we're 8-10.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves by proclaiming us to be a playoff team.

If we make it with this present record it says more about the sad state of the east than it does about us.

Interesting, thanks for posting.

We are projected to go 39-43 which I think is right on target (I guessed 40 wins before the season started)

Not even referencing you, never heard you say that. You're usually on point with your posts that I see.

Disappointed if you actually said that lazy nonsense.

It's amazing in the eastern conference. There could be four playoff teams with losing records, it's so pathetic this year.

Pistons have a 0% chance of making the finals, unless the half the roster of the Pacers and Heat are suddenly injured in the playoffs. Bulls have already completed their injury list for the season.

the east is bad, we could finish as high as 4 or just miss the playoffs. I think we finish 4 or 5

The fourth seed isn't really a possibility while the Atlantic is still this bad. That spot is reserved for whoever comes out of that miserable division until further notice.
