Without CP and JLin, we go to 13-8.

The Houston Rockets have ramped up trade discussions involving Omer Asik.

The Rockets will target a trade between Dec. 15 and Dec. 19, which would allow the players involved to be traded again before the Feb. 20 deadline.

While I hope that Parsons plays (WE NEED HIM!) I'm in favor of the move that considers long-term health over the short term.

Yea, regardless what happned past few games. We still are a young team.
We don't need to panic and we still have a winning record whether we get to win or not tonight.
C. Parsons back spasm is no joking matter, we need to rest him until he feels 100% better.
Unlike some injuries that are curable with surgery, when it coms to back spasm, there isn't any known total cure rather it can be tamed by therapy only.

Tough to get excited about this game since Golden State is playing the same kind of ball, but a better version of it.

But guys have to step on the floor and that means there is always a shot. Houston needs to get tough and start playing the right way.

..Looking at you, Mr. Harden.

Let's see....

1.) Klay Thompson has been crazy this season. He literally isn't missing. With Haren taking turns on him with Garcia, Klay will drop 35 on 75%+ shooting.
2.) Curry will abuse us in the pick and roll. Beverely will get hit by the pick, and the Rockets will stupidly switch every time putting Howard on Curry. Curry will use that dribble hesitation and drop 30+ with 10+ assists.
3.) Bogut and Lee will kill us on the offensive glass. Expect a bunch of extra possessions for the Warriors.
4.) We are guaranteed 18+ TO's tonight. Warriors are top 10 in DRTG.
5.) Warriors will thrive off turnovers and kill us in transition.
6.) Barnes will take advantage of us with his range (money this season), with a new revamped mid post/back to the basket game. He will create mismatches, and find himself open all night.
7.) Mark Jackson is not afraid of Hack-a-Howard. And Dwight is afraid of Hack-a-Howard, where he'll go 3-10 from the line during that stretch to kill any sort of momentum we have.
8.) When the game slows down, we'll throw it down to Dwight against an amazing defender in Bogut. Expect 5+ TOs and 1-5 shooting with his back to the basket. But he'll be 2-2 on pick and roll plays.
9.) Beverely will continue to shoot 4-10 or 4-11 like he has all season. Garcia will revert to what he did from like Games 5-10 or w/e that godawful stretch was, and Casspi will cool down.
10.) Haren greatly struggled against Klay last year. With Bogut in the paint, and perimeter defenders, Haren will take it in his own hands to go ISO, and brick 8 step back contested threes. Plus he'll have 7 TO's.
11.) Haren will also dribble it even more with no Lin/Parsons(?), and when he sees an impossible shot he can't make after all the side to side dribbling, he'll kick it to Beverley, Garcia, or anyone with the shot clock winding down putting them in a bad position, and a "meh %" shot.
12.) TJones will continue what he's done the last two games...being a non-factor.
13.) Watch out for JO. With no Asik, and JO's recent good play, he will be a factor on both ends...no he won't be goaltending gamewinners for us. He's been playing well.
14.) McHale will call a timeout when we have momentum. Out of the timeout, the ball will stick, we'll turn it over, won't defend in transition, and the Warriors will go on a big run.
15.) Yet we'll still be in the game somehow...but in the end, we'll, actually, correction, Haren will try to play hero-ball and lose us the game, as Steph/Klay scorch us from the outside with their ability and execution.

I'm excited.

I'm so so tempted to spend $200 for decent seats for this game tonight. I think I might have an unhealthy man love for Steph Curry.

How the **** is this game not sold out yet?

Loss, if Parsons doesn't play.

Klay will probably score about 49 points. Game will take a gazillion hours thanks to hack-a-Dwight.

obviously haren can't guard thompson
so haren will be on barnes if mchale is smarter
how many 3pts will barnes make tonight?
he's avg 1 per game with no more than 2 made in this season yet
if haren is on barnes
i think barnes will make more than 4 today
yea if haren is on thompson
he's going to drop 51 pts on haren

Ya. You're right. Harden will probably guard Barnes, so Klay may only score 30. Still, no way they win this if Parsons doesn't play.

(I kinda wish we simulate the season until the trade deadline. Limited interest in watching this beat up team that likely will look quite different in March.)

I believe Harden can guard Thompson. Warriors are also very turnover prone.

I expect a close game. Again, Beverley will be left open. If he can convert his shots, the Rockets can win. I expect Curry to have a big game tonight vs Beverley though.

Barnes is the x factor for the Warriors.
