I think we have a really upset and disgruntled star in the league right now:
Kyrie Irving

Hawks 108, Cavaliers 89: Kyrie Irving goes scoreless, missing nine shots, three free throws

He is an AMAZING player, so my offer would be...

Bledsoe + 2 first round picks (Whas and Indy) for Irving.

I think Cleveland will ask much more, and they will not trade him never, but well, we have to speculate. :D

What kind of team would that be next yr ?

I like Luol Deng, but I think Okafor has past his prime and he is not better than Plumlee or Frye at center at this stage of his career. The last few years he had problems to finish strong around the rim, and his mid range game is "average" at best. At defense he is not the force once he was altering shots.

It would be tempting to make a play for kyrie but damn is he bad on d; like doesn't even try bad. I would be ok with dealing for him because the upside is there but there's a part of me that thinks Bledsoe could end up the better all around player.

I too doubt Cleveland will deal him this yr and if they do Bledsoe and a handful of firsts might not even be the best package a team would throw at them. Much more likely they deal waiters and I personally wouldn't trade Goodwin straight up for him.

You wouldn't trade Archie Goodwin for Kyrie Irving straight up?

He probably meant Waiters.

I don't know if I'm sold on Irving that much to give up Bledsoe AND those picks...Amazing shooter but couldn't defend a fridge, always hurt and as loads of NBA commentators have said he lacks leadership skills.

Bledsoe has shown he can be a 20pt scorer and a lockdown defender...I honestly don't think there's that much of a gap between Irving and Bledsoe.

Holy god you wouldn't trade Goodwin straight up for Kyrie?! That's ludicrous...

Only player i would trade on our team atm is Channing Frye.

His value is okay and can land us a decent return.

Some team out there can use him.

Why make any deals at this point ? And certainly, why make any deals giving up important assets? 15-20 more games of this level of play and (I hope) the town will get back behind these guys. Playoff buzz and hype will be the local chatter. The turnstiles will be clicking. cha ching.... a very good ROI for Bobby's off season tab. And a perfect set up for next yr.

I not for trading anyone at this point.
I don't think you get value for Frye or Green without adding draft picks.
No point in dealing Bled or Dragic especially for one dimensional hyped up disgruntling players.
Tucker has solidified a spot.
Keep all of da Yutes. Including the MoBros who continue to defy my expectations.
OK4 ? :dontknow: I haven't seen him play much lately (i see your take on himSaber, but it followed that wildassed deal for Irving, so you yinned and yanged me on cred 8-) ) A deal with him comes with an 8 figured attachment, which hampers our ability next yr. No thanks.

Play ball and let this team grow together, bond. It seems like a good mix on the court and I guess in the locker room. We'll have 3 roster spots open next yr, providing we re-sign Bled and Tuck, which I think is certainty.

This off season is when we fasten on our 'speculation hats'.

Yeah I obviously meant waiters. Don't like him as a prospect at all. Dumb chucker with a bad attitude. No thanks

I'm still not convinced that Waiters isn't a "drafted by the wrong team" guy.

I would trade every player on this roster if it made us a better team. I don't think we're in the position to say, "yep, this is our squad" like Indiana, Miami and San Antonio can.

Disagree, I think Waiters is just waiting to breakout. A new scenery could do wonders for him, but I like our situation better with Bledsoe/Goodwin/Tucker.

Kyrie is talented for sure, but too high usage and a little one dimensional.

I would trade Bledsoe + picks for Kyrie in a heartbeat. Kyrie is only 21 and has multiple All-Star potential, IMO.

I wouldn't trade Bledsoe for Irving. Kyrie is a difference maker on offense, Eric is a difference maker on defense. IMO it's more likely that Bledsoe will improve his offense (which already is better than expected) than Kyrie will improve his defense (which is really REALLY bad).

I am just amazed at some of the posters here who would be willing to deal Bledsoe or Dragic at this point. I can see conversation about Frye and the MoBros, but even then I don't think we get much for them with out adding in a few draft picks.
Haven't seen any realistic swaps posted here. But then again, I do not think it is realistic that we'd deal Bledsoe or Dragic.

PS....btw, Tucker is a keeper.

Let the core grow together. It's working thus far. Don't screw **** up. Chemistry matters.

that's a bold declarative statement for a situation that's not so obvious. Miami has the league's best player and San Antonio has been a contender for almost the last decade and a half. I'm sure '11/12 Indiana could have said "trade every player on this roster if made us a better team" after a promising but mediocre seasoning, but they let things pan out and look where they are now, with the same core.

I agree, sometimes doing nothing is the right move, just letting things evolve and play out.

What do we think of Derozan? He could be on the block

I dont believe that one bit. They just traded away Gay to help free up DeRozan. Gay jacking up shots left and right was severely impacting Demar. Now that they sent him to Sacramento i dont see them even entertaining the idea of trading DeRozan.
