I'm surprised no one here linked this yet. Bill Simmons and Zach Lowe talk about Houston Rockets and their potential trades.

BS: Lin + Asik for Deng.
ZL: The balloon payments make trading both players in single package unlikely.

Lowe kind of admits Rockets are better than he reports, but he likes to write about dysfunctional Rockets narrative.

Also, Bizarro world Bill Simmons is a Lin only fan, said Lin is underrated. LOL. Zach Lowe doesn't look at the new player tracking data. Everything is ass backwards.

Nobody linked it because nobody cares. They are just speculating on a podcast, they have no inside information. You listen to it if you like their banter and what not just like The Basketball Jones before they went mainstream on us.

I can see how Rockets fans wouldn't like BS, I don't like him much either. Also the BJ now "Starters" suck. I watched their show, they are not entertaining.

I was just surprised that Simmons said a bunch of Lin only fan stuff on the podcast. Lowe didn't want any part of it. LOL. Lowe said Harden pooped on defense.

Do people like Bill Ingram "Rocket Guy"? He said Aaron Brooks will displace Lin on the team. Before he was a huge Beverley backer. But then, who wasn't?

Houston Rockets sports media kind of suck in general...

Only thing I really listen to is Morey interviews. He's sharp and tells it like it is and usually gives some informative insight into the team if the interviewer is not totally incompetent and asks good questions.

Yeah, you keep hearing about Houston wanting to shed salary. Lin isn't going anywhere, at least not until his contract runs out.

What I am loving more, is the stupid Heat and Laker fans, saying how we will trade them Asik for a turd in a toilet bowl. They are seriously, the stupidest fans in the league. No idea about Basketball whatsoever.

I just don't see Houston being interested in Deng at all.

Chicago loves Asik. Noah is always banged up anyway.

I'd trade Asik there for Gibson and Butler but would not include Lin.

i know his contract is counted 8.3M per year but his actual salary is 20 million for the last 2 years, 5 this season and 10 for his last
same salary is same for lin

possible destination is probably philly because of our relationship
problem is do we need young?
i know morey been targeting him since 2-3 years ago

If it is Philly I don't think that Young is coming back here. I think that it will be something with Hawes & draft picks.

Any move made will be with the trade deadline in mind. Nothing that happens by December 19th will be an end move.

that's how I'm feeling on it.

Hawes is a UFA though so he would probably be a five month rental unless we are going to send Jones back to the bench and do Twin Towers again. I don't think Hinkie is giving up any picks.

Lin and Rose can play together. Who knows when he's really going to come back anyway. They have to build around someone else. Asik is as good as Noah on defense and not too far behind on offense so it wouldn't surprise me if they traded Joakim.
