Oh my god that was brilliant. Metta is either crazy or an absolute comedic genius.

Turning out to be a very nice off-day for the Dubs. Clippers, Rockets, and Nuggets all lost, and OKC and Portland are playing each other, so one of them has to lose, same with Spurs and Wolves. Unfortunately Dallas just barely held on vs. the Pelicans.

That Artest thing has to either be a joke or a hacked Twitter account, right? RIGHT? That is some #$*@% stuff.

Portland is legit....I'm not sure I was THAT impressed with them although they ran us off the floor down the stretch. I think the key for them is they have extremely legit low post and legit point guard....And unlike the Warriors they get to the free throw line.

Still think Warriors are a better team...but now we have yet ANOTHER western tough team...damn.

I said at the time that while we didn't execute well, that game went down the way it did also because Portland just played extremely well. They're legit.

Whether you love him or hate him, he's definitely fearless.

Meanwhile, Carmello Anthony achieved something impressive today: his +- in the Knicks/Celtics game at MSG was...
<drumroll>
-40

Yes, -40. The Knicks were outscored by 40 points in the 32 minutes Carmello was on the floor.

Celtics shot one less field goal than the Knicks and won by 40.

Also, Masai Ujiri is a god damn wizard. I wish we could do that with David Lee *sigh*.

Am I the only one who thinks Steinmetz is literally the biggest clown in professional sports reporting? I can't stand his stupid face.

Why do you hate the Steiny? He's fair but critical and thoughtful. He's not out to hate like TK was with the Cohan regime. He is just a "show me" guy and not a hype guy. Usually you kind of want columnists to be skeptics. MTII has the party line covered. It's nice to have someone asking challenging questions who hasn't squandered credibility on hatchet pieces like TK or Rusty.

Clips lose to the Nets, SJax a helpful 1-5. The weirdest thing is Chris Paul with 2 assists. Wow, feels like a very rare day when he even has fewer than 10.

Anybody saw the ending of the Knicks game? About 6 seconds left down one they don't call a timeout and Melo just walks it up like he has a full shot clock, around half court I guess he realized the time and tried to get to the 3 point line to chuck up a horrible off balance shot. It was really as bad if not worse as it sounds.

i live in nyc and that's all my colleagues could talk about this morning. i think woodson is asking to be fired here. they had three timeouts left too? what coach doesn't take one, advance the ball, and draw a play to get melo close to the hoop?

ny sports are a joke right now.

Tony Parker out for Thursday's TNT game against us.

Bittersweet.

I'm happy because it improves our chances to win, but at the same time I wanted the Dubs to prove they can handle a fully loaded Spurs team on national television. Would have been a great statement game, especially with Iggy back now. If we win I'm still super happy although it wouldn't prove much to everyone. We didn't have Curry available during the first matchup because of his concussion, so both teams haven't played with both star point guards healthy yet.
