Porter and future first to Bucks for Atentekounpo and Henson?

Helps their tank and gives them a first

Just because you want Henson doesn't mean Milwaukee will trade him. They're not idiots. There's no chance they trade Henson unless we offer up Beal.

Might be tough to get the pick out of them. We could always add the aforementioned Maynor+expiring for Novak to the mix to give them a bit more savings. Definitely worth a try IMO.

D.J. Augustin who seems more promising than Maynor hasn't played much for the Raptors. And they added another PG(Vasquez) in the Rudy Gay trade.

They might have interest in Vesely as an expiring and be willing to send out Augustin and Novak. I think adding Patterson means they would be interested in dealing Novak. I think they probably keep Hayes for front-court depth.

Sanders is a little more risky, but should available a lot cheaper and hopefully provide similar production.

Yes, I want Henson. Don't we all?

Could we get Sanders for a cheaper price with His recent antics?

What about Ariza for Lowry? Pretty much salary neutral and fills needs for both teams.

And if we could also add the previously discussed Maynor for Novak, even better.

Basically we need an NBA ready FC player from a team that will give up that player for expiring contracts. That isn't such a good bargaining position is it?

We want Larry Sanders but they are going to be way under the cap next year regardless, why do they do that trade? I guess to have a bunch of cap room to land a potential FA?

Nope, Ariza is the better player, and he'd actually help Toronto ( I think they want to tank).

Porter is what the Raps would be interested in, and I'd do a deal centered around Lowry+Amir.

how bout Otto for waiters straight up. with ariza and Webster, Otto is just kind of redundant. however we don need a guard off the bench in a bad way. and as far as prospects go their kind of equal. supposedly waiters just had an argument with kyrie and Thompson and is now on the trading block.

no thanks. Waiters plays hilarious D and is the epitome of inconsistent. No point in trading Porter until we see where he's at around early Feb.

I'd do that. It solves a lot of problems. Waiters is the perfect 3rd guard for our team because he can create shots on his own. Just iso him and tell everyone else to crash the offensive glass. It beats what we're trying to do right now with the Maynor/Vesely pick and roll. God give us strength.

It would also keep our SF minutes open for Ariza to fill. Resigning Ariza with Bird Rights would then make sense financially.

I don't think that is enough to get Porter.

For Ariza-Lowry, what about a 3rd team sending filler and incentive to the Raptors and getting Ariza? Cleveland looks like they could use a SF upgrade, although finding filler is tough.

I'd trade Porter for Waiters RIGHT NOW if Cleveland were open to it. Waiters, at least, has elite NBA athleticism. THe one caveat is that Waiters would have to understand that he's strictly going to be a 6th man type here.

I'd try and get Zeller, since he's getting DNP-CD's with the Cavs.

Getting Lowry would be a dream. He's a better version of Jarrett Jack. My only reservation is that he makes a bit too much to come off the bench. Can we find 30 mpg for him? Also, losing Ariza is a bit worrisome in that we can't go small with Ariza at PF. It probably means we need to retain Singleton in a pinch.

Trading Porter for Waiters is the definition of buy high sell low. Plus if we're going to aim lower as for as backup guard goes there are plenty of options. Calderon, Collison, Devin harris, Bayless, Sessions...

I'm assuming he'd play both guard positions, meaning he'd get 25+ mpg assuming we keep Wall/Beal both at around 35 or so. As far as his contract, he's up after this season. Not sure he'll get another shot at a starting gig at this point, so if we have a good run with him as 6th man maybe he sticks around for something around the MLE.

Webster needs to split time at sg in order to get Porter playing time. Otherwise, I suppose we can bury Porter in favor of Lowry. As far as his contract goes... if we plan on signing him for the MLE outright anyway do we need to trade Ariza?

give up a potential all-star for a guy who'll be a free agent this summer...smart move lol

Look, nobody here has seen enough of Porter in a Wiz uniform to start with the "trade em" chants.

Realize that Webster has a serious history of injury and that Ariza is performing this way in a contract year. Be patient.

As for Lowry we could find 30mpg by having him be a backup for both Wall and Beal.
