Exactly. It's a dumb trade. I don't care of how strong a mid-first round pick may be in this year's draft because at the end of the day, it's a hit & miss. How many players in the past in the top 10 have been busts while second rounders are all-stars?

At the end of the day, Derozan has proven that he's a liable 2nd-3rd option in the NBA. It's not his fault raptors don't have a 1st option and are forcing him to play that role.

I say keep him. Cross your fingers that we land Wiggins or Parker and then put one of them next to Derozan and Val going forward

No way Lowry goes to Houston, and why would we want Lamb and a complete, useless, overpaid stiff in Perkins for Amir and Lowry. That's really poor asset management.

To TOR: Boozer + 2014 1st RD Pick
To CHI: Lowry + Amir

We take on Boozers contract but get another pick.

PG / Vasquez
Derozan / Ross
SF / Fields
Boozer / Hansbrough / Novak
Val / C

Is what I would go for next year. Boozer is a expiring so he can be flipped next year.

You're paying an astoundingly high price for a late first round pick. Basically, that's $9 million for a pick that could end up in the 20s.

Fortunately, Ujiri isn't that stupid.

If Bulls trade Boozer, then they'll be forced to tank. They are not losing their top player with a first round pick.

Bulls have 2 1sts. I would put the condition that we get the higher one.

Why would we give up Amir Johnson, on a great contract and performing well just to get a late 1st that could end up being Joey Graham

This is too one sided in Chicago's favour. Lowry and Amir both have more value than a late first rounder, even in this draft. Don't even get me started on Boozer.

Toronto says no! Why would we want Perkins and his contract? Plus, what's so special about Lamb?

We already have a log-jam at the 2. Demar and Ross are both better than Lamb.

Plus, Fields is untradeable so he'll play the 2 as well.

Let's not also forget about Salmons and probably Vasquez or Lowry (since Casey loves running a 2-pg line-up)

What's the point of this trade? Their 1st will end up being mid-late lottery.

Boozer sucks and makes more money than Gay.

Plus, Amir's playing well and on a reasonable contract. Why even think about trading him?

You can trade anyone under the circumstances but the positive assets should return sufficient value. It's not hard to make this team worse. But trading positive players like Amir or DeMar for monkey crap is flat out stupid asset management.

Exactly my point. It's just stupid how some trade proposals are trading Amir for players like Boozer. It's as if people want to get rid of his contract.

Amir's on a great contract and has talent. Let's keep him unless we get an offer we cant refuse

Try objectively arguing that Ross is the better player. It's simply not possible. Lamb is, and likely always will be, the superior player.

What would you base this on?

Let's not forget that Ross is in Casey's doghouse for whatever reason. With minutes, he's performed a lot better than Lamb

You cannot trade 1st round picks in successive years. Lakers already traded their 2015 1st rounder so cannot trade the 2014:

Amir, Derozan and Lowry are the big three to be traded. Right now I'd let Demar rack up the points and maybe trade him at the draft to a team with a top 8 pick. He could fetch it possibly? For Amir and Lowry package both and try to get a pick that could fall into the lotto or just be outside of it. Obviously this is not completely reLisitc but that's what I'd be looking for or hoping for as a fan.
