Haven't seen any realistic swaps posted here. But then again, I do not think it is realistic that we'd deal Bledsoe or Dragic.
PS....btw, Tucker is a keeper.
I am going to agree with this, the only player we might trade is okafors expiring if we need to be a facilitator for a trade but thats about it. We won't get value back on any of our players (other than dragic and bledsoe) and for sure not a first round pick.
Dragic isn't going anywhere until Bledsoe is locked up into a deal. And if a deal can't be made with bledsoe than he is the one going. Either way none of this will be even an issue until the off season and who knows what will happen from now until then.

I dont believe that one bit. They just traded away Gay to help free up DeRozan. Gay jacking up shots left and right was severely impacting Demar. Now that they sent him to Sacramento i dont see them even entertaining the idea of trading DeRozan.
None of the newly acquired pieces could be around long, for that matter, and sources say none of their new teammates are guaranteed to be a part of the future in Toronto, either. Not DeMar DeRozan, certainly not Kyle Lowry, and maybe not even Jonas Valanciunas, though he’s the least likely of all to be departing. Still GM Masai Ujiri is willing to deal anybody, should the right offer come along as he seeks to re-work a franchise that Bryan Colangelo had run aground. In the meantime, he has several pieces to offer around in return for youngsters, draft picks or more cap space.

Masai Ujiri got rid of Gay and Baragnani, two players who everyone thought had terrible trade value and would cost Toronto 1st round picks to dump. Instead, he gave up no first round picks and even added one from NY in the process.
Ujiri may be the best GM in sports.

Sactown and NY.... two organizations desperate to win now.... and it shows.
I expect LunchPailer Chuck Hayes will get a rebirth somewhere. Doubt he remains in Tor.

Sacramento has a good team.. I can see them getting in the playoffs. Egos aside, they may be up there in the higher seeds in the West.
If they gel, who knows... Should be interesting.

Sacramento does have good players but they are terrible as a team, actually. There is a big difference. Kings are, for example, more talented than us right now but our guys play team basketball.

Im not gonna lie, I have always liked Rudy, even though he is a chucker and overpaid. He can be a go to star type player, he is that talented. If he clicks and fits in with that system he could really make that team take off. Not going to take shots away from Cousins, he and Gay are going to be the big two... pick your poision. Mclemore will now be the guy standing all alone at the 3 because no one can guard Cousins in the post, so you have to double, and it will be hard to stay in front of Rudy on on one. So you have two dangerous players with shooters like Mclemore, Jimmer, and Thomas ready for the feed, not to mention Derrick Williams may gel and be dangerous on that team. Line up of Thomas, Mclemore, Gay, Williams/Thompson, Cousins is dangerous.

I would offer them Marshall and our second rounder...oh wait.
Seriously, maybe the Pacer pick and that is about it. I like the kid, but now that we have Goodwin, I'd rather see what he can do with random minutes here and there, and maybe some DLeague play.

You could say that about pretty much every team in the NBA, though. The Suns were thought to be fodder for every team in the league, but their chemistry is off the charts and every commentator from other teams calls them the "surprising Suns". Rudy Gay will never give a team chemistry, not as long as he insists on being a ball-stopping chucker. Look at Denver from last seasons, there's no way they should have finished with as many wins as they did, but they came together as a team, and were tough to beat. The fact is that every NBA team has NBA level talent on it, and if things gel, any team can beat any other team on any other night.
Rudy Gay + DeMarcus Cousins is just asking for trouble. The Kings are going to be the Kings, though. Terrible move, IMO.

Look out... on offense. They're still an average, at best, but more likely well below average defense.

Re: Official Suns Free Agent/Trade/Transaction Thread
I am taking a wait and see approach to the Kings-Raps trade. With the rumored departure of Jason Thompson, it appears to me that the Kings are changing the identity of the team they want to put on the floor. I suspect instead of a team that really did not have a definable identity other than bring the ball up court and pound it into Cousins and Thompson, they will attempt to become a smaller faster-paced team with Williams, Gay and Cousins in the front court and Thomas and McLemore starting in the backcourt.
Whether they can be successful will be determined on the shoulders of the little man (Thomas) who is going to need to manage the team on the floor spread the ball to players in their comfort zones and keep the ball from sticking in his teammates' hands. That means Gay and Cousins will have to make some adjustments away from the Iso-ball they like to play and it also means the Thomas will have to be a true point guard versus a scorer. They won't have a lot of quality front court or point guard depth, and they will need to rely on Thornton, Outlaw and Fredette off the bench to help space the floor. They are not likely going to be good defensively and will attempt to win by outscoring their opponents.
If Thomas, Gay and Cousins cannot make the necessary adjustments, it will likely be a train wreck. But if they can, and they gel within about 20 games, this could be a dangerous crew for anyone to face and could force their way into the playoff picture.

Yea, and if a more talented team plays at their highest level vs a lesser team playing at their best, the more talented team will win! The Raptors are talented!!

Heat 2015 1 st rounder(top 5 protected
We are taking on salary and saving them in salary tax and giving them a good 3 and d guy on a minimum contract. The heat 1st rounder is pretty much a 2nd rounder for how low it will be
