Rodgers to get checked out on Wednesday by McKenzie.
Hold your breath until then.

If Rodgers comes back for this game, we will go on to win the Superb Owl. Mark it down.

Re: Cowgirls leadup
If we end up winning the division, it will have to be absolutely demoralizing for the Lions and Bears. Even when we lose our stud QB and go on a long (by our standards) losing streak, they still couldn't take the division away from us.

Re: Cowgirls leadup
I think Rodgers is going to have to give Doc McKenzie a 'Stone Cold Stunner' at some point and just play.

Unless our defense pulls out a vintage 2010 performance, No Rodgers, No Win. Simple as that.

Going to be really interesting to see how this all turns out. If he still wants to play/can play... then I wonder if we can sign him to another discount deal for a year or two so that he can once again try to prove himself and earn the big pay day.

If Rodgers isn't back the dream dies. The Cowboys aren't good but they are plenty good to smoke us without The Man. On the other hand, if the x-rays and docs cooperate its possible The Man comes around and then...

Of, if u prefer, if Godgers does come back this and you know any Cowboys fans, Lions fans, Bears fans, Seahawks fans, Panthers fans, Saints fans, Eagles fans, Niners fans or even Broncos fans, u can "tell 'em that -eventually- God(ger)'s gonna cut 'em down "...

It will be interesting if he receives differing/conflicting medical opinions about returning. In that case I think he'd have to weigh the $10 million in insurance money vs. what he would be guaranteed on his new deal. And obviously his future health and well being, as well as the concerns of his family.

Yeah, if he wants to play I'm sure he can find someone who will give him a chance. He's got all of the tools to be an elite player at his position if he ever puts it all together. Given the Packers' history I'm not sure that they are the team that will give him that chance though, depending on what the doctors say. I don't think they like the idea of putting a guy at risk with an injury like that.

Re: Cowgirls leadup
As I've stated before, I love Finley as a player but I dont think its a good decision for him to return to the league. With his injury history I seriously doubt he's gonna get a big enough contract to earn much more than the 10 million dollars he's already guaranteed if he has to call it a career. It's just not worth it imo.
He's got a ring, he's proven he can be a bigtime player in the league when he's been healthy, he's made tons of money already (especially if u factor in the 10 mil), and lets be honest I mean brain cells for him are already at a premium and coming back to potential f up his future mental health to make money he's already guaranteed seems like a waste.
All that said, if he does come back and finishes out his career as a packer, wins another owl and maybe makes the packer hall of fame it would be an absolutely unbelievable story and if he does come back I'm gonna be rooting for exactly that to occur...

I;m honestly worried that if Finley comes back he's going to end up being paralyzed. It terrifies me to think about.

Lol, so Packers refuse to bring back Collins due to health problems, but we should get excited that Collins again said he wanted to play?

Re: Cowgirls leadup
Not only the Packers but not a single other team in the NFL has brought him to play. I would love a prime Collins back but I think that is a pipe dream sadly.

Oh God, Nick coming back and then a healthy Casey and Shields? Time to fap!
it's an amazing dream at least. Interesting that he would put it out there either way. I thought he was in the "play another down, could be paralyzed with the first hit he takes" category of injuries.
As for the Cowboys, their defense is godawful. If Rodgers is back, we win handily. Just need the defense to get at least a few stops and take advantage of the inevitable Romo mistake or two.
