Umm...We lost a 12 pt lead. Maynor wasnt even in the game. You are being misleading. Bench is garbage. Wall couldnt even help it in the 2nd half. +- is a useless stat. Specially being a pass first pg on a sorry bench.

+/- is a useless stat, huh? Well, point to one stat—just one— that shows that Maynor belongs in the NBA. Just show one....I bet you can't find one. He misses shots, he doesn't get assists, he makes bad passes all the time, and he can't play defense for ****. Everytime he's on the court, it's like 4 on 5.

Kinda hard to get assist when nobody can score Hard to get a shot off playing hot potato and 1 sec on the clock.

Temple was garbage 2. Did they even score a point vs Denver bench Temple didnt hit a shot, had no assist and a TO was a +1

Basketball is played at both ends of the court. Temple at least shut down Nate Robinson (who got nothing on Temple).

So in other words, you can't. You support a guy who literally does nothing to improve the team, yet there's substantial proof to show that he makes the team worse. As a matter of fact, check the backup point guard play from last season, and you'll see that the bench played better when AJ Price was running the offense WITH THE SAME PLAYERS. Maynor struggles to even get the team in their sets.

Temple should have been the backup PG ages ago. He's at least a competent defender who'll be low usage. We won't see dumb floaters and Derek Fisher quickness out there.

Actually 6.8 assists per 36 isn't bad for a back up. That the same as Parker, Nelson and MCW

And 4.3 TRB/36 isn't bad either. Wall is at 4.2

Dat bench in the 2nd half actually had a +1 differential when Wall was out and Temple replaced him. Maynor hasn't had a positive on/off differential in 16 consecutive games! Think about that for a minute. Given the small minutes sample sizes, you would think that random chance would at some point rear it's head and give Maynor a positive differential, but it hasn't happened for 16 games! And I'm not talking about a positive differential relative to Wall. I'm just talking about outscoring the other team for even a brief stretch of time. Even in a Wizards win or a blowout win, Maynor can't lead his team to even the slightest bit of success.

Yes, the bench is garbage, but the bench didn't lose the game tonight. The "starters" did (if you want to call GRJ, Ariza and Booker "starters".) When Temple ran with the second unit, they outscored the opposition by 1. That unit consisted of Temple, Ariza, Singleton, Booker and either Vesely or Seraphin

I actually enjoyed parts of the game. It was down the stretch that was just a fugly mess. Actually, I have more hope coming out of this game then I did going in. I wondered he they could play without Nene and they did.

Glen showed some stuff. That's good news. Randy made a bold move for once and started him. Impressive for Randy. I wouldn't have guess he would do that in a 100 years. And his reason was that he wanted to spread the youth and not have Otto and Glen out there together. Wow. Randy actually thought of that.

Booker looked like the Booker of old. They played really energetic D. They just needed more shooters.

Well Beal and Webster are about to return.

Next game, the only missing players should be Nene and AH.

^^Not sure where you're getting your numbers from Hands, but I checked BR and it had Parker at 7.1 and MCW at 7.2 (wasn't sure what Nelson you were referring to, I'm assuming Jameer but he's just a shell of his former self now)....not much of a difference from what you had.

Either way, 7 apg per 36 is not very good for someone who was touted as a "pass first facilitator." The guys mentioned above are all scorers first, which means if they aren't creating the offense for others, they're scoring themselves.

Either way, Maynor sucks.

Wow. Booker whiffed on like 3 screen attempts. Missed two for Maynor and one for Temple.

He single handed ruined that entire set.

Wall would have just blown by the defender but Maynor doesn't have that kind of speed. Nor does Temple.

Glen might have been able to have helped at SG. Who and hell was out there.

Maynor, Temple, Booker, Singleton and Kevin S Oh Randy. When are you going to learn.

Singleton may well have been the best ball handler out there and he never touched the ball.

What's astounding is that he hasn't already done so yet. He has played in 19 games and hasn't hit double digits once. I wonder how many backup PG's in the league haven't scored in double figures once.
