i was pissed when they called the game, but it took ten mins for the lines to be completely covered by snow. Can't play with no lines and it didn't look like stopping after waiting a half hour, which is i'm assuming why they called the game.

ironically, this is the third time a Juve-Gala champions league match got suspended or postponed

I think the game was called off because it wasn't snowing, instead there was ice on the field. The weather in Istanbul yesterday was weird. Ice and snow poured together, which does not happen often. And believe me I know, I've been living here for 25 years.

that makes sense also. the field is still very icy making it difficult to dribble or pass on the ground....
quite a sloppy half this will be, already shots are coming from 30+ yards out

Good save by Buffon.

Burak Yilmaz not being able to kick the return ball was hilarious.

GS starting to come forward now. Wouldn't surprise me if a counter-attack Juve goal comes within the next 15 minutes.

Juve has to realize by now they can't do these simple passes on the ground in the middle of the field

It would surprise me if anyone scored a goal. The pitch is too bad.

That was some nice passing, especially considering how bad the pitch is currently.

In order to score, they need more bodies in the box. Can't expect the forwards to move the ball 50 yards on this pitch.

No doubt some good finishing on Sneijder's part.

A bit unfortunate, as I think Juventus would make for a better opponent against other (top) teams in the knockout stages.
