We put up a pretty good fight without Lopez and Deron. Let's see what we can do with those guys healthy.

The Clippers are a very good team, so this is going to be a tough game at best. At worst, a blowout loss.

But we weren't just without Deron and Brook last time...we were without Pierce and KG as well. Griffin DESTROYED us last time...with KG, we should do a much better job of containing him.

If we lose a close game, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Annoying because we're trying to climb out of this hole we've built, but even if we were playing up to our potential, this wasn't a game I would have "expected" to win.

I am expecting a good game though, either way.

I dont think we are getting blown out, providing there arent any unexpected injuries. We played them well in LA while we were severely depleted and we would have won that game if we had Brook or Deron that night.

More than anything want to see Dwill win the PG duel with Paul.... and win the game obviously. Bring some attention back to Brooklyn.

If we lose..... badly..... forget it. We're not on anyone's radar. If we win I think we start turning heads again.

We're 90% healthy for this game (considering no AK and PP being limited still) so that's enough for me to say that we should get a W. And please, for the love of god, no injuries in this game.

edit: BTW that pic is just so depressing... if we win can it be changed for future GTs?

Reddick killed the nets last game an he is Out with the broken hand. So that's a plus. We were competitive last time without our starting player. Second night of a back to back may mean that kg doesn't play. Which is bad cause I feel he now has his mind in the game or at least he did last night

The game is not tonight, it's tomorrow night, so it's not a back to back.

We should get a w? Lol why should we? Since when are we the better team that we should get a win. Some you sound like Knicks fans. Two straight wins against scrub teams and we should win every game against anyone from now on and look at what happened to them. I would love for us to win but I'm not expecting anything from this team yet. They need to prove themselves more before we can be confident in beating the clippers. Also I understand we almost beat them without their starters but our bench played amazing that game and that will never happen again. Also Paul was invisible during the whole game and once he showed up he made us look ridiculous. Like I said before I would love a win but I'm not fooled by this team to expect one.

Its funny, in our last counter vs the Clips, we were very competitive with JJ, IIRC, the only guy from the orig. starting 5 playing and even so it wasn't much...

with that said, here's the funny, we're going to be playing mostly with the guys that weren't playing last time vs LAC....

Hey coach Kidd, don't just forget about MT33!!!!!

Alan Anderson overall has been pretty decent. Too inconsistent to depend on but when AK gets back he can always be subbed for him.

Tyshawn, c'mon son

Even with Williams' comeback to the lineup, Taylor expects Kidd to use either him or Livingston frequently next to the former All-Star.

“With Shaun’s style and his versatility, D-Will’s style and his versatility, two out of three of us are going to play at the same time together as a one and two combo,” Taylor said. “We’ll be good.

I expect all of our bigs to give them problems actually, from Lopez to KG to Blatche. They're just a very small team outside of Deandre, and he's not that good of a defender.

D-Will always gets up to play CP3, so barring a setback with his ankles, he should play a good game.

The only guys I'm worried about are Johnson and Pierce. They need to be hitting their jumpers if we want to win. If they're having one of those off nights where they brick everything, then we'll lose imo.

I wouldn't depend on Pierce making his shots. Dude has a freaking boxing glove on his hand

I think AA should get more love than he is. He was thought of as a 15 end of the bench player, and now he is a very valuable starter. I said from the day they signed him that the starting line up should be

DW, JJ, AA, KG, BL

That way with Alan being a defering type of player he wont command the ball like JJ or DW does. Plus Alan feeds the post and that is a lost art thats necessary for a team that has the big players across the board like we do.

Then you come off the bench wit

SL, JT (when back), PP, AK (when back), AB

That way PP can go ham on the court and not be canceled out by JJ's ball hogging ways. I mean JJ got the first 5 second call i have ever seen in the NBA says something.

But Alan Anderson deserves a lot more credit than what people are giving. I mean SL had one good game and everyone was on here screaming about he is the best player on this team post injuries, and how with out him we would really be hurting, but he hasnt had a good game since. I dont know why, cause his skill set and size should be reckon havoc on opponents other guards. but hey he got more break out games to come. Alan has just done what he needs to everytime out there on the floor, and yes he does a bone headed play from time to time, but show me a game of one of the 450 (30 teams x 15 players) NBA player where they havent. Its almost like people sit thru him doing good and say nothing, but as soon has he take a bad shot its oh he is playing hero ball, he dribbles of his foot and he should never have the ball in his hands, or my favorite why is Alan Anderson out there in crunch time.

Like I said before, playing time is earned in practice, u know what tells me about Alan Anderson. HE is showing the coaches in practice he is killing the other players, and now he is showing it out on the game floor too. So I salute you Alan Anderson keep showing em, and maybe one day the will learn to respect you!

Spot on, CEO. Some of your Nets comrades do not seem to comprehend this.

As per KG in the Post last week, Paul played with the fracture (with constant pain in his hand) for 2 weeks (= 7 games) BEFORE the fracture was finally diagnosed after the Houston game. He shot 46% before that in 8 games.

Posters who continue to **** on this still elite future HOFER because of his recent shooting woes need to swallow a freaking reality pill & chill out.

Once his hand has healed at the end of this month, you will see the real Paul Pierce again...and the Nets will have a VITAL component of this team restored.

In the meantime, I guess Paul is insisting on playing with a freaking "boxing glove" on his hand - and focus on rebounding & assisting as he did last night (7Rs & 3 As & 1 steal).

Personally, I would absolutely prefer if he sits out another 10 days.

If this team can beat the Clippers tomorrow, & Deron & Brook continue to beast - watch the hell out NBA!
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

I really like Anderson. He hustles and always brings it, and has even been attacking the basket recently.

He's been under control as well.

He deserves all of JETs playing time whenever he gets back, but not more minutes than AK.

Stank face.
