Slow down there he has a much higher ceiling than LMA but by no means is he better than him right now
I'm gonna use per/36 just because...
COUSINS - ALDRIDGE - CATEGORY
49.2% - 47.8% - FG%
9 - 5.1 - FTA
71.1% - 80% - FT%
3 - 2 - Offensive RB
9.2 - 7.7 - Defensive RB
12.2 - 9.8 - Total RB
3.2 - 2.6 - AST
2 - 1.2 - Steals
1.5 - 0.8 - Blocks
4 - 1.8 - Turnovers
5 - 1.6 - Personal Fouls
26.3 - 22.7 - Points per game
So Cousins is better than Aldridge in 9 categories. Aldridge is better in FT% and in lower turnovers and personal fouls. The latter two indicating that he is more concetrated player and can stay longer on the floor due to low foul count. I give advantage to Cousins because he gives you a more complete contribution.
ADVANCED
COUSINS - ALDRIDGE - CATEGORY
26.1 - 23.3 - PER
54.5% - 52.3% - TS%
49.2% - 47.8% - eFG%
34.9% - 28.8% - Usage%
104 - 110 - Offensive Rating
99 - 103 - DRTG
0.9 - 1.9 - Offensive Win Shares
1 - 1 - DWS
1.9 - 2.9 - WS
.161 - .175 - WS/48
Obviously Cousins has better PER but only due to higher usage rating, because PER
likes players with higher usage rating(hence why best PER players are those with most touches, and there are no players like Tony Allen who are beast on defensive end but erratic, to say the least, on the offensive eng and they get no calls played for them). Aldridge posts higher OFRTG which makes him more intelligent player in my eyes, a more serviceable player. But we can't take that without context, right? Nope. Kings are awful team and they struggle to score and that's why he has lower OFRTG. But that doesn't excuse him for being lesser player team-wise on the offensive end. On the defensive end though, Cousins is better than LMA by 5 points. And that just showes he is better team defender than LMA even though LMA has Lopez besides him. Consequently with OFRTG so is Offensive win shares in favor of LMA. Overall WS is in favor, again, of LMA. Making him better player for his TEAM. Not individually. Here LMA takes the throne over Cousins.
SHOTCHARTS
First is Cousins and second is LMA

As you can see DeMarcus operates mostly inside the restricted area and LMA LOVES that mid range-long two. LMA preffers the left side over right. Cousins' shoots most of his shots from the post - between the FT line and the basket. He is better at finishing at the basket but lesser shooter from the mid by 6 percent. Close(area between FT line and restricted area) is won by LMA by 2.6%. But since Cousins took 60 shots more inside restricted area and since he shoots 0.9% better he has better FG%. Also LMA took 180 more shots from the mid and DC took 19 more from the close area. This just shows more versatility from LMA - and good shot selection by DC. Cousins opts to take close shots instead taking long jumpshots because he doesn't excel at taking them. Unlike JSmoove who has potential to be top 5 PFs in the game if he starts taking smarter shots.
After all it's all about personal preference. Cousins is better at steals, blocks, PPG, rebounding and passing while LMA gives you more variety on offensive end and DMC is better on the defensive end. I choose DMC. Because I loved his game ever since he got in the NBA. If only he gets his frickin head straight he could be only player in the NBA capable of 25-13 on daily basis at the center position.
