lol I don't even know what to say. There is no consolation to finishing 2nd other than you're still in it.

Eh, if healthy both have shot against athletic, Schalke can even beat the English teams and PSG if they're healthy and have a new coach. Leverkusen and Chelsea would be a hideous match up though. Still glad they made it this far, if 3 can make the second round I'll be excited.

Btw max Meyer is so sexy, watching the things he and Draxler were doing was astounding. It's insane how good that kid will be. Could end up the best German player when he grows up.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

Galatasaray against Italian teams last 10 games: 7 win 3 draw.

I am hoping for PSG, Atletico or Dortmund.

I wish Arsenal won today though. It would have been an easiest matchup for us since we already beat them in 15 mins in this beginning of the season at Emirates Cup 8-) 8-)

I am going to have to say he means it is a victory because they still qualified even though they lost.

Massimo...without your support Serie A is going down the toilet.

Juve eliminated, Napoli eliminated and AC Milan barely escaped with a 0-0 in a home game vs. Ajax.

I hope that it is Massimo and I hope they let him stay. He has paid his dues.

Can someone give me a summary of what happened in the CL today?

Barca destroyed Celtic 6-1. Neymar hattrick.
Milan managed a 0-0 draw at home while playing more than an hour with 10 men. Finish 2nd behind Barca.

Napoli beat Arsenal 2-0. Dortmund got a hard fought 2-1 victory in Marseille. Plenty of horrible ref decisions. Blatantly obvious offside goal for Marseille given, Payet sent off for diving, Mandanda hacked Lewandowski but not penalty call.
Dortmund finish 1st in the group because they won the heads up with Arsenal and Napoli. Arsenal in 2nd place.

Gala beat Juve 1-0 earlier today on an 85th minute goal by Sneijder. Game was continued today from minute 32. They had problems with too much snow/ice in Istanbul yesterday.

Zenit lost 4-1 in Vienna but still came up 2nd in their group behind Atletico who beat Porto.

Chelsea won 1-0 against Bukarest to top their group. Goal from Demba Ba who missed numberous 100% chances later on in the game.
Schalke finished 2nd by beating Basel due to dubious decisions from the Italian refs. Ivanov got sent off on what should've been an offside call. On the 2nd goal from Schalke 4 players were offside but the ref and his assistants had tomatoes on their eyes.

Thank you Foye. Never thought Juve would fail to advance, especially since Gala was struggling early on the season.

Hey, does Germany have any scheduled friendlies in March? Would be cool to play you guys.

In short

The BuLi >>>>>>>

Italy lol...arsenal lol...and poor celtic.

Oh and that yellow-red on Payet was a great call, obvious simulation and the ref actually had the balls to send him off for it. Wish they did that type of thing more often.

And yeah, I'm cool with Massimo getting to stick around, especially now that all 4 german teams advanced from their groups, like I told him they would.

Mr Grant Hill wrote:lol, arsenal go through on goal difference. 2nd in the group.
and as much as i like arsenal: but in 3 of 4 games against dortmund and neapel they were the inferior team.
and i absolutely don't like arsenal's chances in the next round.

we weren't the inferior team to dortmund at home. We were the inferior team tonight for sure and at dortmund for long stretches but after the ramsey goal we did have a good spell and a couple more chances to end the game.

but I dont like our chances in the second round as well.

Does the referee at Schalke - Basel make worst 10 list? Schalke's 2-0 was so offside, even if you have never watched soccer before you could see that something was wrong there.

I do not understand what is this Massimo thing but it seems you guys are missing someone.

That's fine. I'll be your Varane. I'll come out of nowhere and you won't miss Pepe anymore lol
