Re: LeBron has too many of "those moments"
LOL I ain't even mad from that loss vs the Pacers last time I checked we were Champs and it's one game out of 82 games. Pacers played better then us last night the Heat just didn't do well at the end. I don't understand why we gotta talk about LeBron and his moments he made mistakes deal with it and move on he knows whats wrong and he is trying to correct it. Anyways its only 20 games in this season 62 left so there is a lot of things to correct on.

If he had KD/Harden's kind of calls, he wouldnt have any of those moments.
This. I'm sure it pisses him off that Hibbich is allowed to tackle him and get away with it in the name of "verticality." Wasn't it Spo who after last year's run that LBJ didn't get half the FTs he deserves? Conversely, Harden and Durant get more than they deserve.

Meh. It's a loss. Indy is the one team in the league that worries me, but it's just one loss. Even in a series, I'd expect we'd lose a game on their floor. All that matters is staying healthy and securing a solid overall seed so that we stand a good chance getting HCA in the Finals. Indy is focused on beating us. We're focused on beating everyone.

When he's been healthy this season, he's been absolutely dominant, more-so than ever before, but the back keeps giving him issues. Which is why LeBron looked like two different players vs the Pacers

Re: LeBron has too many of "those moments"
The pathetic thing about basketball fans (and even some Heat fans) is how easily they buy the psychoanalysis crap that's been spoonfed to them. 2011 was a bad enough example of this - for any knowledgeable basketball fan who understands the strategies of the game wouldn't attribute the Heat loss to James "choking", "shying away", etc. - but it seems as if people still haven't learned from this.
Three facts about the game:
1. Contrary to popular opinion, James isn't perfect.
2. When you play a great defense, you usually don't play as well as you would against another team.
3. Every superstar in NBA history has had their "moments" where they fall off a cliff performance-wise.
Case in fact. Let's use James's advanced metrics from his '11 season:
and compare it to his "shameful" performance vs. the Mavs, his lowpoint in a single playoff series:
The dropoff? 21 points in efficiency. Trash.
Fine, you don't like the metrics? Let's compare the regular season and '11 Finals using the vanilla, offensive per game numbers and ts%.
Dropoff in 9 points and .053 in ts%. Trash.
Now, let's take this random basketball legend, who won MVP, DPOY, All-Star Game MVP, All-NBA 1st team and All-NBA 1st team defense all in the same season:
Ridiculous numbers. But what about his playoff performance in the 2nd round?
That's a 17 point dropoff in efficiency, which is nearly as much as James's. Trash.
And, of course, the offensive per game numbers and ts% that the metrics are based on also shows a dropoff:
Points down by 8, assists down 1, turnovers up 1, and down .054 in ts%. Trash.
Surely a player who drops off almost as much as James did in his "disgraceful" Mavs series is some overrated legend, correct? That overrated legend, however, was Michael Jordan.
Let's be smarter, not stupider. James has player overall superb basketball throughout his career and this season. He'll keep pushing for his 5th MVP and 3rd Finals MVP.

Sometimes I feel Charles Barkley is right; Miami fans do not deserve LeBron James.

Re: LeBron has too many of "those moments"
I love Wade, but damn, Heat fans in general are way harder on LeBron than they ever were on Wade. I know part of it is Wade was the hometown guy and not expected to be nearly as good when we got him, but damn... do you guys remember Wade in game 1 of the ECF back in 2005? He was AWFUL, and the Pistons beat us on our floor. But Heat fans believed in their guy, and he came back and was awesome in game 2 and the rest of the series til he got injured.
If anyone deserves a pass for a mediocre regular season game in December, its LeBron.

Re: LeBron has too many of "those moments"
the fans who have been here since Rony Seikaly, Glen Rice, Steve Smith were our best players and Willie Burton, Billy Owens and Laphonso Ellis played that SF spot NEVER EVER EVER take for granted what we have in Lebron James.
He is as close to a do no wrong player as the Heat have (includilng my favorite player of All Time DWade) and Wade, Zo and RILEY would tell you that if they could.
