This has great game potential so I hope the Rockets show up. T JONES going back to Portland..

Portland has only 2 losses at home this year, one of those was a gift from the Rockets. Portland will be playing with something extra because of that.

I agree and the result is not a high probability for a Rockets win, but still have to play the game.

I believe Lin will be back for this game. I wonder if Asik will be back to. Hope this long rest was good for Harden and Parsons and with the return of Lin I hope they get less minutes. Need Asik because the last time the Rockets played him he did a great job on LMA.

How many games do the rockets play the Blazers? 3or4? We are up one in their area.

I think Asik is sitting until 12/15. We've likely seen the last game for Asik in a Rockets uniform.

I think Portland are definitely the surprise team this season. I don't think anyone expected them to be doing this well. In saying this, if we truly want to establish ourselves as a dominant team, we need to make a statement with this game.

I have no issues with Portland, they are what they are, I think it will be a good game to watch, pity I'll be at work.

I think we match up really well with the Blazers. Talent wise, i dont understand why their record is so good. They're not that talented all things considered.

I hope Dwight takes on Alridge.

We smashed this team on the road with Lin/Asik starting and we are a better team now.

We should be able to take care of Portland. They are not as good as their record.

Asik guards LMA well so he will be missed. Hopefully Lin isn't too rusty. Our bench unit without Asik and Lin has been looking bad the past few games. Casspi and Brooks have been decent with the starters on the floor with them, but the chemistry hasn't been there since Asik went out when we go to 4 or 5 bench players on the court at the same time. Asik anchored the defense and D. Mo is just lost. With Asik, that 2nd unit had moments where it functioned better than the starting unit. I'm going to miss Omer when he's gone. Lin is the attacker off the bench. Without him, everything just kind stayed on the perimeter and they settled for a bunch of long jumpshots. Should be a good game.

that was the first week of the season. those games aren't relevant.

the blazers again have 3 guys making over two 3pters a game, mkaing over 40% of them. i dunno how they're so **** good. they gotta decent bench but its not a huge boost. lopez is an upgrade at center but he's not that much of a game changer.

unless their bench steps up in the 2nd half of the season, their big 3 scorers cant keep that up. tired legs. but for now, they can shoot the rockets out of the building. hard to think they wontbring it on national tv after they started to get some win streaks going. gonna be a good game

That was early in the season, so not sure about smashing them....i do think we match up well against them, so i expect a victory. The game tomorrow though with Warriors, i expect the rockets to get smashed...lol

Both opponents owe the Rockets a big L... going to be a tough pair of games and I'd be happy with a split. I'd especially enjoy beating GSW.

we beat them early in the season when they wont on the roll yet
they improved a lot since then
you can tell by watching those games against indy and okc

if lma can knock down those long jumper it will be a rough night for tjones
tjones post defense is not really good
if he can't stop lma inside nor outside we might see howard on him which you can smell foul trouble coming up
