If he was really all of those things at the NBA level at this point in his career and wanted to be don't you think he'd be on an NBA team?

This possibility is why I added the "and wanted to be" qualifier.

It is a little frustrating when I choose my words very carefully and still get the same responses to my post that those words were designed to make unnecessary.

Either he isn't good enough to be in the NBA or he doesn't WANT to be in the NBA.

Datome hasn't been given a real chance to operate in the offense.

It's amazing how quick people are to write players off because they don't come in being Manu Ginobli

Ive noticed that users on this forum do that alot. Datome has never gotten a solid stretch of minutes and i think if he continues to adjust to the nba he could be good for us.

Rudy Fernandez seems fine being a stud on the best team in europe, i would rather have KCP keep getting good minutes.

This position was suppose to be Datome. This guy has failed to live up to that role. Enough said.

Rudy is the 2nd option on the best team in europe, he is not coming back to a medicore NBA team to fight for minutes and shots
