Bartolo Colon has signed a 2-yr/$20 million deal with the Mets.

The Mets have given 6 years and $80 million to two guys with a combined age of 72 this offseason.

I don't wanna hear any more crap about the Yankees chucking money at people.

Rizzo seems to love making deals with Beane, acquiring Jerry Blevins from Oakland. Good deal, we needed a lefty. I'd still try to go and get one more, that will round out the 'pen quite nicely.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

are the phillies gonna actually trade Hamels or Lee?

I'm absolutely tired of these guys, Lee in particular, being in rumors every year.
either trade these boys or say they're untouchable.

......

oh Dodgers, please go get Cliff Lee.
thanks in advance.

And what do they do with Smoak? He wasn't terrible later in the season so maybe they move him for an OF.

Well, it seems whether they are posting him or not changes every few hours or so. Apparently, Dylan Hernandez of LA Times expects it to be officially announced tomorrow if he gets posted or not.

I think it'll be between the Cubs and the AL West teams.

I still think the Yankees flip Gardner for a SP and sign a few relievers with the rest.
