"If talks progress and no other teams jump in, trade would likely have to feature Ray Felton going to Toronto with at least one more player"

- marc stein

Raymond thinking he's slick by waiting until now to be out for 2-3 weeks.

He's not young enough for a team that is trying to tank for the next 2-3 years and start competing by around 15-16, and he's **** up their tanking effort this season.

He's a lot better than Felton.

Big idea here -- they probably would love to dump Fields. So just give them cap junk and take back Fields and Lowry.

Doing Shumpert would be stupid.

Re Kyle Lowry: I'm told Raptors are shopping him everywhere, but NY is "most promising destination" at this point. TOR wants a 1st-rd pick.

And we all know the knicks are going to give up a first round pick.

I'm all for it. But the Knicks also need to get rid of Woody as well.

can't take back Fields unless they take stat (and add salary on their side) or bargs.

Knicks had interest in Denver's Andre Miller, but focusing now on trying to make deal for Toronto's Kyle Lowry, sources tell Yahoo.

We're not keeping Shump. They gave up a lottery pick for Lowry, he can't be had for chump change. At least if we send them Felton we have more cap space in 2015.

What junk can we give them that wouldn't screw up our 2015 plan though?

I don't want Fields or Novak back. No take backs.
