lol there's as much chance of this happening as there is of ya'll winning a championship this year.

Take out Derozan

We aren't trading him

Lowry--you guys can have. But I don't see Masai taking back just felton and shump

Shump doesn't make sense for us because we already have a log jam at SG (Derozan/Ross)

Felton doesn't make sense either because what's the point of trading lowry (who's expiring this year anyways) for Felton's fat contract

There has to be a third team involved (where Shump can go) and us receiving Felton and a pick or another asset

You missed the green....

Fields, Lowry for Felton, JR, Aldrich.

Or you can just do JR for Lowry straight up in a 3-way perhaps. Lowry-Felton would actually be a pretty decent PG tandem.

Lowry is a free agent this off-season and we are not winning a title this year. Shumpert, therefore, is OVERpaying. Stop in the name of love.

That sounds good for us, and if that's the case, I'll gladly take that package. The question I have is, why would Toronto? They are clearly getting the worst end of the deal. What benefit would that trade be to them?

He's expiring and the need for PGs around the league is very low. He's not a playmaker -- just a good 3-ball and defender.

You are bidding against yourself to give up a young asset. He's just going to leave Toronto -- they can't get a 1st-rounder for him elsewhere. Why do it?

Hopefully JR is gone by Monday

I'D CONSIDER MOVING SHUMP FOR LOWRY BECAUSE SHUMP HAS NOT LIVED UP TO EXPECTATIONS, HAS INJURY HISTORY, AND IS ALSO DUE A CONTRACT EXTENSION SHORTLY BUT NO 1ST RD PICKS.

THAT BEING SAID, GOODBYE 2018 1ST RD PICK.

I was thinking about saying this earlier but I didn't want to rain on people's parade. Knicks fans just want something different especially since we're losing, I understand that but I hope everybody comes back down to earth and realizes Lowry is nothing more than Felton Jr.

I'm a bit fuzzy on trading Shump for Lowry but realistically Iman has looked like pure sh*t this year & the injuries ain't helping so he's gotta go for Lowry.

Lowry is certainly not Felton Jr and nobody said they want to trade the 2018 1st for him so yall can continue to argue points that are not even being made in this thread.

Swear to God if we trade another pick for a dude that's expiring. But I'm glad we're going after a guy that could really help. Plus he's an expiring so he'll be extra motivated to play good for us.

I'm guessing its gonna be Felton & Shump which is pretty solid for us. We get rid of Felton's contract & get an improvement at PG.

Giving up a 1st AND shump would be a disaster. Plus this is a contract year? Please be careful.

Because you need to pay a premium to get rid of the three years remaining on Felton's deal.

THJ is untouchable to me.

I would gladly bring Fields back, if it meant JR was leaving. Sadly that's a pipe dream

Any deal in which we give up any of a 1st round pick, Shump and THJ we lose badly.

Why are we the team who always gives up picks???? WHY?
J.R. Smith's last-second whiff left the Knicks with a sixth straight loss. But J.R. would do it again. "I think we went with the best shot," he said.

If Lowry plays even slightly better than Felton did last year than we are a better team. Also Lowry gets to the line which is something we need.

Not Shump. But I'd consider 2018 lottery protected or at least to 10.

Exactly, we only have 2 good young players and short on picks for like the next decade. Why give up one of those players for a less than a year's rental of an average pg?
Yes he's probably better than Felton but so are most NBA pgs.

I swear to God if we're giving up something crazy. I wouldn't be crazy about giving up Artest either.
