Someone give a good argument about how Lowry is an upgrade over Felton. Or should I say anything more than a marginal upgrade.

They are the same type of player.

Give up the lottery-protected pick instead.

Imagine Thibs coaching a Lowry-Shumpert defensive backcourt with LeBron at the 3? Yeah I said it.

Hearing Felton could go to Toronto and another asset. Lowry makes more than $6 million this season, so that would make sense financially.

jared hearing lol

In a world filled with clown ass NBA writers, Zwerling is the biggest joke of them all.

Big idea here -- they probably would love to dump Fields. So just give them cap junk and take back Fields and Lowry.

Doing Shumpert would be stupid.

Nope! Hell no to Fields, but reacquiring Novak is fine.

Yes, that would be a disaster. Shump with Felton would not.

Dude is 15 and 7 with 36% from 3 and plays D. Definitely much better than Felton. Just not a great playmaker. Does all else well, including being a jerk.

I'D CONSIDER MOVING SHUMP FOR LOWRY BECAUSE SHUMP HAS NOT LIVED UP TO EXPECTATIONS, HAS INJURY HISTORY, AND IS ALSO DUE A CONTRACT EXTENSION SHORTLY BUT NO 1ST RD PICKS.

THAT BEING SAID, GOODBYE 2018 1ST RD PICK.

I was thinking about saying this earlier but I didn't want to rain on people's parade. Knicks fans just want something different especially since we're losing, I understand that but I hope everybody comes back down to earth and realizes Lowry is nothing more than Felton Jr.

I'm a bit fuzzy on trading Shump for Lowry but realistically Iman has looked like pure sh*t this year & the injuries ain't helping so he's gotta go for Lowry.

Lowry is certainly not Felton Jr and nobody said they want to trade the 2018 1st for him so yall can continue to argue points that are not even being made in this thread.

Lowry is Felton jr. actually his entire play is Feltonesque. He's not a playmaker, he's an aggressive defender but not a good one (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he's not a great one), he plays with energy, he's been out of shape.

And I dunno what you're talking about with the pick, it was brought up because most likely we'd have to give up a pick based on the report fam.

That's nauseating. Because we're giving up one of those picks.

Eh. Why are we trying to patch up this season with someone like Lowry? He's not the future. We're going to end up signing him to a new deal that we're going to hate in a few years.

you would only have to put up with Lowry this season, raymond on the other hand would be for 2 more years

Lowry's tougher & a better defender. Plus he's better in pretty much everything else.

Sigh, let's cripple this franchise next decade too.

If this happens, we'd be giving TOR two 1st round picks for Andrea Bargnani and Lowry. Just think about that for a second.

He's like if Felton were an NBA player.

Kyle Lowry has a decent TS%, better playmaker (I don't know where this not a playmaker stuff is coming from. He's not Chris Paul but he makes plays). He's hardcore, true NY style PG, will defend, and make an effort (defended PFs in college), can hit the 3, can rebound.

Wow this would be a nice bit of dumb luck if he fell into our lap, I'd do Felton and shump in a second but I'm sure the raptors are going to want more
