i would seriously be pissed if the knicks give up another 1st rounder just to be treading water with lowry. he isnt the pg you make him out to be. he is better than felton, yes. but he is not worth giving up shump or a 1st with felton. trust me
too many urkels on your team, that's why your wins low

Please get it done, for Felton and Shumpert is a right price, we are not going to re-sign Shumpert long term anyway.

They are the same type of player.

For starters:

Felton TS: 46%
Lowry TS: 56%

Felton PER: 11.8
Lowry PER: 17.5

Felton ORTG: 98
Lowry ORTG: 115

so, not gonna be that easy.

Still I would offer Felton and Shump and say that is it. If you want it fine if not fine. Not over paying for Lowry.

How much is Shump worth? What contract would you give him? Cause if he is going to get paid a lot then he could mess up the 2015 plan. Rather have THJR still on his rookie deal

I wonder why the Warriors are that interested. Maybe Klay for Lowry and assets so they can move Curry to the 2?

Even then, I would not even make that trade. Klay and Curry aren't great defensively but the Warriors should aim higher than that imo.

The Nets can trade them a 2034 pick.

Raymond Felton may think of himself as a "warrior" but clearly the Knicks don't agree. Front office wants to upgrade point guard position.

Dude is 15 and 7 with 36% from 3 and plays D. Definitely much better than Felton. Just not a great playmaker. Does all else well, including being a jerk.

36% is not very good. It's simply average. It's also his career high as he's never been a good 3 point shooter.

Lowry's FG% is awful and he is a shoot first pg like Felton. The only thing he has over Felton is athleticism. But Lowry is not that much better than Felton. Raptors fans will tell you the same thing.

Tough situation for Knicks: With no first-round pick to add, NYK could be confronted w/unsavory option of putting Tim Hardaway Jr. in deal

I'D CONSIDER MOVING SHUMP FOR LOWRY BECAUSE SHUMP HAS NOT LIVED UP TO EXPECTATIONS, HAS INJURY HISTORY, AND IS ALSO DUE A CONTRACT EXTENSION SHORTLY BUT NO 1ST RD PICKS.

THAT BEING SAID, GOODBYE 2018 1ST RD PICK.

I was thinking about saying this earlier but I didn't want to rain on people's parade. Knicks fans just want something different especially since we're losing, I understand that but I hope everybody comes back down to earth and realizes Lowry is nothing more than Felton Jr.

I'm a bit fuzzy on trading Shump for Lowry but realistically Iman has looked like pure sh*t this year & the injuries ain't helping so he's gotta go for Lowry.

If Lowry plays even slightly better than Felton did last year than we are a better team. Also Lowry gets to the line which is something we need.

Agree - BUT, STOP INVESTING THE FUTURE INTO THIS CORE. THIS CORE IS FLAWED AND WILL BE UNTIL AMARE'S $20M MILLION IS INVESTED IN 2-3 USEFUL PLAYERS. EVERY TRADE THAT SENDS FUTURE PICKS ELSEWHERE IS HURTING THE FUTURE OF THIS ORGANIZATION AND PUTTING US RIGHT BACK INTO THIS POSITION AGAIN. WERE SHORT ON TALENT AND ASSETS. STOP TRADING **** FUTURE PICKS.

YOU WANNA TARDE SHUMP AND FELTON FOR LOWRY - I'M OK WITH THAT. BUT A FIRST ROUND PICK IN 2018??? GET OUT OF HERE.

THEY WANT A FIRST, CALL THE SUNS AND OFFER SHUMP FOR ONE OF THEIR 5 EXTRA 1ST RD PICKS.

IN OTHER NEWS, THE OTHER SUITORS FOR LOWRY - GS AND BK - CAN'T OFFER FIRST RD PICKS UNTIL 2019 AND 2020 RESPECTIVELY.

Big idea here -- they probably would love to dump Fields. So just give them cap junk and take back Fields and Lowry.

Doing Shumpert would be stupid.

Nope! Hell no to Fields, but reacquiring Novak is fine.

So u rather take on another yr on novaks contract instead of fields

Have you always had that sig? :o

My original was Gasol/Melo/Thad/Leandro Barbosa/Dragic
when I realized how good THJ was, I put him in, and about 3 weeks ago I changed Dragic to lowry.
Now all we need to do is trade Bargs for Thad(Bargs is one less year)
Tyson/Melo/Thad/THJ/Lowry

Another key difference between Felton and Lowry is that Lowry expires in 2015 whereas Felton only expires then if he exercises his player option, which he won't because at the rate he's going out he won't get a single offer.

If the Raps want Shump, they can include our pick from the Bargs trade with Lowry. That's the only fair deal.
