He's either being extremely overrated, or extremely underrated by fans on this board. Fact of the matter is he's still an upgrade over the garbage we have starting at PG. Unlike Felton, at least he won't be blown by opposing PG's on a consistent basis. He's not a great defender, but he's not totally inept in that department either said. That being said you don't give up picks and assets for a marginal upgrade whose contract is about to expire.

A slight upgrade in loss of weight, age, and he's not injured.

But I literally just saw this guy get his ass torched by a guy we didn't want and he's been getting lit up by opposing PG's on a nightly basis.

But I've noticed a trend this year anyway.. every rumored trade seems to have gone down so I'm assuming this one is right around the corner.

Oh well, Executive of the Year (wow!) and a pick based on 20% of a season ... oh well you're right. Game set & match.

The Knicks overpay for every player -- they've been doing it for eons. That's Masai's doing or just the Knicks and the Knicks not wanting to lose him to New Jersey? And the only reason they gave up the picks is that the package of actual players they were sending over was a grab bag of nothing much for a perennial All-Star.

Masai has done about as much as anybody who's never done much of anything.

Trading away Felton is probably the only way we get a different starting PG the rest of the year. At least until we dump the coach and who knows if the new guy will be smarter. The biggest plus in that Felton/Shump deal is that Felton doesn't get to play for us any more. This is the catch-22 thanks to our stubborn coach.

Alright, I'm gonna avoid these threads from this point on.

Folks are in here going to war over some random ass rumor.

When and if an official deals goes down, I'll throw the cape on for the new arrivals.

THJ can't guard anybody.. the guy is going to be a constant liability on defense his whole career.. I wouldn't trade him for Lowry but I would trade him in a heartbeat for an actual upgrade at the point guard position.

Jason Terry or Jamal Crawford can't guard anyone that well either. How are their careers working out?

If the team is planning on hiring JVG or THibs.. then this guy is expendable, period.

And I'll wager you anything you want he doesn't have as good a career as Terry or Crawford.

ROFL watch we end up giving up Hardaway & a 1st rounder. I think that would do it for me.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.

I am ok with picks as long as they are pick swaps. Not just giving up picks.

I hope Mills is smarter than this. I'm really getting nervous now because I don't trust this franchise at all.

If the choice comes down to dealing Shumpert or Hardaway Jr along with Felton...which one do you give up?
