Kyle Lowry career: 10.7 shots per 36MPG
George Hill career: 11.2 shots per 36MPG

WHAT A CHUCKER

You're not accounting for the TYPES of shots though. I've seen Lowry tossing three's from a few feet back of the 3 point line on some JR ish. Hill for the most part doesn't force the issue. Lowry is more talented but I'm tired of guys who are talented but don't have great IQs which is what I categorize Lowry as. Still wouldn't mind nabbing him though if it meant not watching Felton again.

Funny thing is that Hill would be the perfect PG to play alongside Melo.. but these guys would still take Lowry.

How in the world is Hill the perfect PG for Melo when Lowry isn't? Hill is pretty much a worse version of Mario Chamlers. On 2 point FGA he is shooting 42% compared to Lowry's 48%. They are equal as 3 point shooters and rebounders and Lowry gets a lot more assists and runs the offense for his team. George is a slightly better defender. So tell me how Hill would be a better fit?

I know he takes some of those shots, but he doesn't take a lot of them. I think Lowry gets this rep of someone who takes nearly 20 shots a game on some Brandon Jennings s hit, but he's not like that.

To me Lowry and Hill are similar players in many respects. Can't compare stats because Hill has to do less.

Both good shooters, solid defenders, not great playmakers. Hill's attitude is better.

The New York Knicks are pursuing Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry with a package of Raymond Felton, Metta World Peace and a 2018 first-round draft pick, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

I have no idea what they see in him...

I don't know maybe it's because he played in the big east.. maybe they don't like Hill because he's a pacer.

There is a reason Lowry is about to be traded to his 4th team in his career.

I'm not a big Lowry fan.. if there is a position I know it's the 1.

Hill has to do less but performs worse? How does that make him a better player? Also no one here knows Lowry's attitude

From Felton's camp: Hearing trade talk but nothing is imminent. With the Dec. 15 trade date ahead there will be a lot of chatter until then.

No chance of a Shumpert for a 1st, you say? Teams trade last first rounders for cash all the time. Trading one for Shumpert is nowhere near out of the question.

Kyle Lowry is a mediocre PG. Are you willing to trade one of the few decent you have left for another mediocre PG that is not astronomically better than Raymond Felton? Just a few weeks ago people were up in arms over acquiring Faried for Shumpert, who would be a better acquisition for this team than Kyle Lowry. Now all of a sudden it's time to waste assets so we can put a band aid on this severed limb of a season? Why? What is Kyle Lowry going to do for this team? Is he going to lead them to anything of significance? Then why are you trading anything of value for him?

Iman Shumpert has been ruined by the Knicks toxic atmosphere and Woodson's awful coaching. Jeff Teague looked like hot garbage until Woodson left the Hawks. Now look at what he's doing. I am not comparing Shumpert to Teague but I do know he's a better player than this and he's proven he's a better player than this. In the right system with the right coach he can have a very good career. Better than Lowry's, yes. Because it's not hard to have a career like Lowry's when Lowry is a mediocre player. Not to mention that Lowry spent his first 5 seasons in the league as a mediocre backup putting up Shumpert-like statistics.

I was simply commenting on the fact that chalmers and hill don't effect there teams success much.

You could swap lowry with both and they both wouldn't miss a beat.

Its like saying Hill or Chalmers on the raptors and they would be a better team...they are a product of playing with really good teammates...that is it.

Felton and JR play with a really good teammate in Melo but they still suck.

correct because they suck

lowry doesn't suck, he is bette then felton and jr

How? Lowry is a good enough shooter. It's not like Hill is great from 3.
