Say what you want...i will be more pissed if we give the raptors money in the deal. We need to keep our money so we can just buy a pick come draft time.

Picks are a waste if you don't tank enough to get a quality one and then have time to develope them.

What? Is this post for real?

This is the kind of logic Dolan or Isiah would use.

if you aren't going to tank properly, which the knicks will never do...honestly getting a 17 or 18 pick in the 1st round is that going to be a game changing player?

im trying to use the logic of how our organzation is ran and if the deal happens. Sorry i don't live in a fantasy world

If the option is trading shump or the 2018 pick...i choose trading the pick

that is my logic

Look amare is playing good
Bargs has been better than expected
Th jr has been good
Melo is Melo
Chandler looked good before he got hurt

What has sucked has rem backcourt

Besides Indiana and Miami who is better than us in east? Nobody
We need a pg
Also we might need to make a improvement to keep Melo around
Bc we are t gonna trade him
So if he walks
We will be back to isiah era team

I'd rather send the pick than shump or th jr

So idk why y'all are getting butthurt about a pick 4 years from now
We are a pg away from being in top 4 mix

Bc if we do not trade for a pg

THIS YEAR IS OVER
So if y'all would rather waste this season for hope of some pick 4 years from now continue to bitch

Just watch with a real pg we are right there

we are butthurt about trading the pick because it ALWAYS comes back to haunt us. the melo trade, possibly the bargs trade, the eddy curry trade, and every other **** time we traded a pick.

if we dont trade for lowry this year is not over. this team has showed signs of life recently...and we WILL be better once we get tyson back. no doubt about that. honestly, this team isnt going past the second round...if we even make it out of the first. there is no reason to continue to jeopardize our future for a non-contending team -- something we will not be even with lowry (and anyone who thinks he will help us take out the pacers if a (Please Use More Appropriate Word)...im sorry).

Lowry has been a 14/7/5 player with good defense and 37% 3 pt shooting as long as hes been a starter

but where does the real PG come from? surely you dont consider lowry the REAL pg that will get us "there" unless there= 40 wins?

That's where I've been the whole time. Save the pick and see if someone else becomes available later.

its times like these i remember why i hate the knicks...and question why i am a fan of this team. then i remember because i was brought up watching them. ****.

Knicks pursuing trade for Kyle Lowry
Adrian Wojnarowski
By Adrian Wojnarowski 26 minutes ago Yahoo Sports

The New York Knicks are pursuing Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry with a package of Raymond Felton, Metta World Peace and a 2018 first-round draft pick, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Toronto is discussing deals for Lowry with an ever-growing list of teams, league sources said.

Several teams are pursuing Lowry, but the Knicks' most direct competition for him could come from the Brooklyn Nets, who are also exploring the possibility of a deal, league sources said.

Within the Knicks, there's hesitance on including the draft pick, but there's no chance a deal for Lowry could get done without it, sources said. Nevertheless, there's still doubt on how long New York will keep a pick on the table, sources said.

Did the final deal get reported yet? That 2018 pick needs to be lotto protected or a pick swap

I do think Lowry is a bit of a chucker. But slight chuckers are not bad -- shows guts and a desire to win the game.

lowry is a marginal upgrade from felton but not this year's felton. he's a lot better. and that's what the knicks are worried about. this latest injury sealed ray's fate.

I'm not thrilled with giving up the pick, but Dolan is the definition of YOLO.

Glad we didn't give up Shumpert. Lowry and Shumpert could be really good with a good coach.
