Giving up yet another pick huh? An unprotected pick I assume. F*ck Dolan and the idiots that help him run this clown organization.

Glad we didn't give up Shumpert. Lowry and Shumpert could be really good with a good coach.

But you get rid of the coach and figure out what kind of basketball team you want to be and then you start making moves.

Get a dude who gets these guys running. Even **** ty ass Felton is better when we run. Lowry, Shumpert, and THJR on the fast break? That's not bad. Get Kevin Love in here to throw outlet passes, and you got yourself a stew.

The New York Knicks are pursuing Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry with a package of Raymond Felton, Metta World Peace and a 2018 first-round draft pick, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Toronto is discussing deals for Lowry with an ever-growing list of teams, league sources said.

Several teams are pursuing Lowry, but the Knicks' most direct competition for him could come from the Brooklyn Nets, who are also exploring the possibility of a deal, league sources said.

Within the Knicks, there's hesitance on including the draft pick, but there's no chance a deal for Lowry could get done without it, sources said. Nevertheless, there's still doubt on how long New York will keep a pick on the table, sources said.

trade him to the nets! prokhy/king are just as bad as we are when it comes to trading picks. maybe they will try to one up us and include 2 first round picks and conditional seconds. PLEASE BE THAT STUPID

They don't have first round picks or swaps to trade.

Uh, Lowry is decent and an expiring contract. NY gets him without giving up Shumpert or Hardaway Jr. its a good deal. The head of the snake needs to defend, Lowry does defend. Not a playmaker, but he plays defense and he pushes the ball upcourt. Lowry and Shumpert actually would be an interesting defensive backcourt.

Wow.

I don't know what's more amazing. This many pages in a thread or the Knicks even thinking about surrender future draft choices when they have only the slimmest of chances of winning an NBA championship this season.

That's where I've been the whole time. Save the pick and see if someone else becomes available later.

This. Let Pablo, Udrih and Murry play until something better comes along.

I'm trying to understand if you're serious. Are you being serious? Are you really saying the draft is worthless outside of the lottery? How many good players have been drafted from 15 and on? Furthermore, how many future picks did we trade that ending up becoming lottery picks did we trade under Isiah? We didn't have to "tank". We just sucked. We suck right now too. What makes you think they'll be good 5 years from now?

Your logic (if you can call this logic) simply makes no sense.

bro, you need to be serious. The knicks aren't going to just let Melo walk. He sells to many damn tickets and yes he gets his team to the playoffs (don't bring up this year because most likely once tyson is back and if the lowry trade goes down, we most likely are making the playoffs) so that pick we give up wont be a lottery one.

im simply using logic. If the trade is going down I have a simple question.

Would you rather trade shumpert to a 3rd team or just give the 2018 pick?

also the pacers not going through a "proper tank" and winding up with arguably the best / most complete team in the east.

are you missing the fact that we haven't had our Center all year and we don't have our pick so we wont be tanking and wont be won of the worst teams a couple months from now when the real tanking begins....

Kyle Lowry would be a fine Knick IMO. He plays with heart & passion for the game. He doesn't back down either.

He's not worth a pick tho, especially on an expiring deal. Felton's contract is the only reason we have to include a pick probably.

Hopefully we get another random player from Toronto. Austin Daye? He's a solid shooter.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.
