I feel for Metta though, maybe there can be a gentlemans agreement where Metta gets waived and we can resign him or why not trade Brewers trade exemption.

would you rather make the trade that could really help us this year an get us an upgrade at pg...rather than giving denver a lottery pick?

i would feel sick to my stomach when they would be picking the lottery balls if the knicks were in it and giving it to denver...wouldn't you.

at least this prolongs our pain for 5 years, got to take the positives

How do I have more faith in the team than you do? And I hate this team...

His last year in Houston, he was playing some of the best point D I've ever seen.

He gets lit up nightly so far this season and Lin dropped 31 on him this year in an overtime win where Houston was even trying to freeze him out.

Maybe Lin is a FAR better player than you think?

So good that he's the soon-to-be highest paid 3rd string PG in the NBA.

then we can re-sign lowry + bargs when the contracts run out, watch melo leave, re-sign tyson/shump, trade for derozan, and we can be the next raptors! LETS DO THIS.

FOH with your "yes." that team isnt a contending team or a team that is a lock to make the second round. im done risking our future.

cool opinion

facts are Lowry is a million times better Felton who is a **** TURNSTYLE on defense and a buffoon on offense

lowry is hardly a "million times better than felton." lowry is an upgrade...but a slight one, at that.

how is he a slight upgrade when hes literally better at every facet of basketball?

Now Felton and Metta plus a pick in 2018? That is tempting.

The question is how many points did Lowry score on Lin?

Honestly, id rather trade THJ than an unprotected 2018 first (with the luck the Knicks have, it will be a top 3 pick).

Now if theres lottery protection, and Lowry resigns for a decent contract, I can live with it.

We get bird rights for Lowry this summer, correct?

For what it's worth, Toronto GM Masai Ujiri is at Fenerbahce Ulker's game today where Bojan Bogdanovic is playing, per @ismailsenol

I'm not trading our 2018 for Lowry. But Dolan probably will.
