Can the Bucks just trade for some nice assets just one time! ONE TIME PLEASE! I will gain hope for this franchise if they do.

Yes, but are we not trying to win now? :banghead: Man that winning thing is working out well.

That pick is of major value and we don't have much to offer. I see us using most of our asset(s) for talent that they will believe will help us win now.

In principle Ersan for that pick with nothing of value back would be ideal.

Then just play the youth. Whatever vets are left are in a backup or reserve roles.

POR fan here, would you guys be interested in a CJ Mcollum/Meyers Leonard/Crabbe package for Sanders?

He's a PPP player. Very highly doubt he's traded. Very highly.

I think there would have to be other pieces to get the salaries to work but I would do that in a heartbeat.

Aside from Henson and Giannis I'd trade whatever combination of players would return us Harrison Barnes. I'd also probably trade a package of Ersan, OJ, Larry and whoever else the Warriors would want (excluding Wolters, Giannis and Henson) for David Lee, Draymond Green, Nemanja Nedovic and a draft pick.

We would be taking back too many players in that deal. Do we really need to be cutting guys with guaranteed contracts?

Same. I'd be all over that. Sanders and Aldridge would be incredible together.

I think Thomas Robinson's psyche would be too damaged if he's traded again right now. That guy needs to stay in one spot for awhile.

I suppose we don't need to do anything, I'm just tossing an Ersan/Sanders deal into the pot. This gives us 5 former first round picks under 23 years of age. Helps the tank. And yes, I'd happily cut or deal butler/udoh/radjk for peanuts after to make the roster work. I think each of the other teams might do it as well.

I understand your thinking, but you have to realize this front office doesn't make logical moves. I just don't see Kohl wanting to cut a guaranteed contract. Also, I don't think Houston would make the deal because they already have Terrence Jones at the 4 who is playing phenomenal and they would be giving up a better asset in Asik. Secondly, for Milwaukee, most of the prospects they are getting back don't excite me enough to give up one of the best rim protectors in the league. I just don't see any of those guys making a significant impact for the Bucks down the road. Just my opinion though, you make logical points for the deal as well.

Yea I hear ya and to be honest I'm not a huge fan of any one of those five young guys. And I personally want to keep Sanders. Just thinkin within the parameters here if we were to deal Ersan and Sanders, I'd love to really load up on potential.

First off, no trade with 15 guys ever happens. Secondly, when Bucks go +12 wins and the other two teams go -10 and -12 wins you are doing something wrong.

Yes, because the trade machine will magically accumulate wins and losses in real life for teams...

NBA trade machine win/loss calculations are all done with PER, the worst stat possibly ever invented.

PER > PPG or Batting Average
