Not sure if this has already been posted but Joel Meyers has found a new job...

Key & Peele are pretty hit or miss but some of their sketches are hilarious.

he was sooooooooooo much better than bill mac, who just seems ignorant when it comes to professional basketball. does anyone know the true reason hes no longer with the lakers? to me, it seemed stu was getting annoyed with him towards the end of their time together. however, i loved the guy. so knowledgeable when it came to bball/the nba.

The only thing annoying about Bill is the fact that he gets overly excited for every "meh" dunk, block or whatever, but he does know pretty much everything about the other team and the other team's players. What I hate is Stu correcting him almost every damn time. That's annoying.

Anyway, I like our broadcast, they're not big homers and are as much unbiased as they can be...

when i said ignorant, i meant more about the rules and whats happening on the floor, not so much about other nba players(which they have a bunch of write ups about each one in front of them)

theres so many instances each game where bill mac says something, but its not what happened. But i agree, hes far from a homer, which i appreciate.

Yes, I guess he was the only broadcaster that returned their call... I wonder why he didn't just use his real name?

Despite what you heard about him and Stu they were good off air. The main reason he's not there is cash...secondly they were getting ready to hand the TV keys to Spiro Dedes but he was lured away by the Knicks when their radio gig opened up and they gave him more flexibility to still do his CBS stuff the the NCAA and NFL Network assignments.

The Lakers didn't want him to miss games like that. Joel and Spiro were good, Billy Mac and Ireland flat out suck....but that's what you get on the cheap.

Bigger question though what is the content of the East/West battle player names? Are Key & Peele making fun of names given to predominately African American/Latino males at birth.

It's become unbearably hard listening to lakers commentators with Meyers gone, I can't stand that stu guy it seems he goes out of his way not to sound bias. Like he would put down laker players before the play even took place.

They're poking fun at outrageous names in the NFL like Barkevious Mingo, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, etc. No need to pull the race card.

At the end they do have a white guy, "Dan Smith from BYU." Poking fun at the boring, typical white name too, that clearly not EVERY white person has...just jokes man smile a little.

I dont know why, but the thing that bothers me the most about Mac is when he reads those Jack in the Box and Morongo advertisements in that ridiculously stupid voice he does. Like he's trying to sound like a clown. That annoys the hell out of me. Every single time.
