There's no way we buy anyone as expensive as Schär or even shell out money on defensive players this winter.
We've been pretty solid so far, are able to get by with Jantschke at CB and also have Brouwers back already with Dominguez(who's been pretty good this season) starting practitice with the team today.

The only thing that could happen this winter is de Jong moving someplace else and us adding another offensive player to compensate this move.

Either way, you guys have to buy at least one quality CB for CL or EL next season. Might as well spend money on Schär now then. Brouwers and Stranzl are not compatible to knockout games in Europe.

I don't expect much to happen, but I do buy the rumors of you guys looking at a lot of Basel players and do think that you'll try to arrange for a Sommer deal to replace MAtS, and see what kinda price tags you can get on Schär, Salah and Stoker as well. If you can get some real money for LdJ could even see you pulling the trigger on one or two of them before the WC.

They should have some money to utilize in the summer with the fees for MAtS, LdJ and maybe even Herrmann on top of the European funds. I'm expecting a MAtS replacement, a CB replacement, and an arrango replacement at the very least.

I would absolutely love to see Kiyotake join a better club, whether in the Bundesliga or abroad. His ceiling's far higher than Nürnberg can take him, in my opinion. I think the best options for him are... Hertha, Mainz, or Real Sociedad (him and Prieto would make a nice combination).

Neither of those clubs has the 10 mil. € needed to get him. I'm not even a big fan of him although his dead balls are very good.

In other news Thiago Alcantara already calls his decision to move to Bayern Munich the best decision in his life.
Not sure how he comes to that conclusion but it must be a cheap shot at Barca.

If Hertha make it into the EL, I could see them making a big splash move like that although they should probably wait a little longer for their kids to develop some more, i.e. at least let Mukhtar take the 10 spot from ronny permanently, before spending money they don't have again.

Stranzl's still one of the better cb's of the Bundesliga and will most likely be re-signed for another season.
Though, I'm not sure on Brouwers and that's why there could be another CB coming next summer.

Well, one shouldn't read too much into those speculations, given that most of them are created in Switzerland since we bought Xhaka.
Also, having Lucien Favre as our coach, pretty much every Swiss soccer player is being linked to us, as long as he's able to run straight forward without breaking a leg during the process.

Though, Sommer might be an option, if ter Stegen does leave for Barca, but he would certainly an expensive one.

BTW: de Jong could be going this winter(Stoke and PSV are really interested), but only if we're able to sell him for a good price.
And, of course, if we're able to add another player to our frontline this winter as well, given that de Jong is the only striker(Hrgota's still young and learning and Mlapa's not good enough and linked to other clubs as well) we've got left on the bench.

I think we'll have some money next summer(especially if we do qualify for international football), but it's still up in the air about us selling players.
MATS could stay and de Jong might even stay as well, even though I believe he'll be gone this winter.
Oh, and Herrmann just re-signed a couple months ago and has an opt out believed to be around 15 - 20 mil euros.
Given that price tag and us being financially stable, I doubt he'll leave before 2015 at the earliest.

50 Eintracht "fans" broke into a hotel in Frankfurt where Nikosia's away fans slept over night.

Burned bengalos and caused a brawl. I bet Nikosia fans feared for their lives.

Time for Eintracht to be relegated again. Just because the club is playing in the EL for once their fans are feeling like the kings on earth and think everything is allowed for them.

Bremen's defense is making Adrian Ramos look like CR7.

I don't know why Aaron Hunt doesn't demand a transfer. He's a hell of a player.

Loyalty ok but he is wasting the best years of his career on a bottom dweller.

Well he could make the German WC roster.
But you guys have more than enough CF's with Falcao and Martinez.
I don't like the idea of using him on the wing either.

A few months ago I thought Ramos had no chance in hell to make it with Falcao, Jackson, Muriel, Bacca, and even Teofilo Gutierrez being on top form.

Things have changed. Jackson is still in top form, but the NT seems too big for him and he can't seem to score. Muriel is injured and underperforming this year. Teo Gutierrez is garbage and Bacca seems to be the only one who is playing well right now.

Most people seem interested on bringing Freddy Montero who is killing it on Portugal, but I prefer Ramos who is performing well at a much better league IMO.

I agree that using him on the wings is a bad idea. We tried that before and it didn't work.

Firmino finds Rudy who plays on Volland and he cooly dispatches Hoffenheim's 2nd. Get in. Love these boys.
