Can we just change this to a overall trade thread? Mayo, Udoh and Ridnour all need to go as well.

Zaza needs to go before the last two, who are expiring.

Forgot about that giant Georgian turd already as well as Neal.

Who would you guys rather overpay with potential newfound capspace:

Gordon Hayward, or Kawhi Leonard?

Hayward would be this summer, Leonard would be the next.

Wouldn't overpay for either.

Leonard for sure. But the Spurs won't let him get away.

Hmmm...that's a tough one. I definitely appreciate Leonard quite a bit more. BUT, I don't know if we could karmically handle another Spurs grab. I mean, don't we have to pay some form of karmic tax for nabbing Neal for the tank?

Do you think the Spurs go higher than 4/48?

I think it would take a mini-max offer to get him to sign a sheet --and I think he gets at least one -- but even then, the Spurs might sign him, or jump in with a better offer before the offer sheet is signed.

Have to see how this year plays out for him, as he seems to be in a bit of a rut, but I could see him demanding more and the Spurs paying it. The thing is, this off season may totally change the complexion of the Bucks so it's hard to predict that far out.

Sanders, Ersan, Udoh and Ridnour for Okafor Len, Fry and a first rounder or two works in the trade checker. Now I'm not sure either team would do it. For the Bucks it would be a total tank rebuild move. Greek Henson Len, cap space, and multiple firsts would be a good starting point for the new gm they should hire. I'm not sure the suns would be comfortable taking on that much salary but could be a very good defensive team with Larry. Ersan would get a ton of good looks with Bledsoe and Goran driving to the hoop.

Speed Round:

Ilyasova/Knight for Perkins/Lamb/Abrines (and try to get a pick, but won't hold my breath)
Mayo for Charlie V and picks (or no picks, **** Mayo)
Zaza for Travis Outlaw/Aaron Gray (in two months)

Neal and Butler and Ridnour would have to play rotation minutes the rest of the way, driving our tank.

If Philly is really trading Thad Young for Asik, Philly might be able to facilitate a three-way for Denver that returns Fournier for us, and they would also need a back-up center, as they want to try Hawes as a stretch-4 to help their tank.

MIL OUT: Udoh
MIL IN: Fournier

DEN OUT: Fournier, Andre Miller
DEN IN: Evan Turner, Arnett Moultrie

PHI OUT: Turner, Moultrie
PHI IN: Udoh, Miller, Picks from Milwaukee or Denver

I'd offer 2016/2018 pick swaps, or a protected 2017 1st, or 40 second rounders. Just... nothing before that.

Wolters/Abrines/Lamb/Fournier/Giannis/Middleton/Henson/Sanders, with a high 2014 first.

The Spurs like him- probably a late first and a throw in. If I am the Bucks I would try and combine the late first and the high second and move up to take Harrison = assuming we dont take a PG.

...I know I shouldn't even ask, but what about Livio Jean-Charles as the throw-in?

Bonner, De Colo, Jean-Charles and a 1st would be cool.

Love me some Jean-Charles. The kid has game. He had a fabulous game at the Nike Hoops Summit last year. When the Spurs drafted him I was like: "Of course. Friggin's a@@holes." I love what the Spurs do.

Just about every rumor circling right now involves Ersan (Udoh and Neal as well). I think he's got a 10% chance of sticking with the Bucks.

Mayo, Sanders & Ilyasova are the only Bucks vets who are "starter" grade. Mayo is just sucking swamp water right now, so he's of doubtful value, especially with his contract. Larry has been off for so long, his night club escapade, along with the pending contract extension has to have deflated his value considerably.

That leaves Ersan, kind of by default and he's not looking good either. He does have some history of being a slow starter, plus the Bucks are uniformly wretched, so maybe that's an offset from a buyer's perspective. It's kind of backing into it, but he appears to me to be the only guy not on a rookie contract with value.

Udoh, Neal, or Ridnour may have some use as deal sweeteners to the right teams. I don't think you find takers for Butler, Pachulia (injuries & contract), or Delfino, except on some monster deal. God help us in the last case....

What picks do the Lakers have? Can't remember what they gave up in the Nash trade or others. They would probably be my target and could use both Ersan and Sanders.

It'd be nice if Ersan was playing better. He's getting the minutes, getting the open looks, just not hitting his jumper. Maybe he's not comfortable in Drew's system. The #1 priority of this organization should be to make Ersan appealing to the rest of the league. It's time to stop wasting assets at their lowest possible value.

They owe their 15 pick to the suns for the Nash trade so I think 17 is the next yr they can deal a 1st.

Good news. Hopefully we get something good in return, but I am willing to get rid of the salaries.

I don't think Ersan's trade value is much lower than it was last year, but I do think his slump has had some effect. You have to realize that a lot of teams would be on the fence about him when it comes to a reasonable trade offer, and as much as gm's are supposed to be rational, astute professionals (haha!), they will let recency bias affect them. That means a hot streak would tip the balance in favor of a trade, whereas a slump will tip the balance against it.

I would prefer not to trade him unless it's for a pick in the 8-15 range (depending on the projected quality of the draft in which the pick occurs). I'm certainly not outright dumping him just to tank harder, because Giannis, Henson, and Middleton could all get some pf minutes and interfere with the tank just as much as Ersan does. Would rather let the poor ball movement and lackluster offense continue to prevent Ersan from contributing all season, and then have him back next year as a perfect complement to Sanders and/or Henson.
