Mainz is doing a relatively solid job of keeping Gladbach from creating shots but man we need more quality up front and @ CAM badly. :-?

Müller and Choupo are actually solid players. Okazaki today like 5 times offside already and counting. Malli absolutely sucks. :-?

Gladbach's passing game is awesome. Scoreline is still 0-0 but we can't get possession of the ball. :(

Firmino beats a couple of BvB defenders and sets up Volland to win it. And the Zac Efron lookalike doesn't get it on target. OUCH!

Another two points lost due to injuries for Dortmund. They gotta be happy that the winter break is coming soon.

I'll take a 0-0 draw against Gladbach who have won 6 straight in the Bundesliga. Good game from Mainz, although it's pretty clear that we need upgrades on offense.

Nuremberg cannot get a break. They lead 3:1 in the 87th minute, get an CLEAR offside goal against and suffer the equalizer in injury time. 16 games, not a single win :o

If not for Baumann's fingertips Meyer would've just scored an absolutely gorgeous over head kick. The kid is just so insanely talented. Watching him and Werner combine with Brandt and Goretzka on the youth teams is going to be so much fun in the coming years.

Thiago was asked by Spanish media to individually (!) compare Barca and Bayern players and to say who was better.

Valdes vs Neuer => Neuer (Barca 0 - Bayern 1)

Dani vs Rafinha => Dani (1-1)
Pique vs Boateng => Pique (2-1)
Mascherano vs Dante => Dante (2-2)
Jordi vs Alaba => Alaba (2-3)

Busquets vs Lahm => Busquets (3-3)
Xavi vs himself => Xavi (4-3)
Iniesta vs Kroos => Iniesta (5-3)

Alexis vs Müller => Müller (6-3)
Neymar vs Robben => Neymar (7-3)
Messi vs Ribéry => Messi (8-3)

Comment: Barca may individually win this 8:3, but IIRC they collectively lost 0:7 in real life 8-)

I think you miscounted. You counted Muller's vote towards Barcelona. It should be 7-4 Barcelona.

This doesnt even make sense considering he compares Bayerns injury riddle squad to Barcas top squad.

If you move in Schweinsteiger&Martinez and switch back Lahm to RB Bayern will pick up more points. Im not sure whether Neymar is already better than Robben btw.

Aubameyang is in hot water after saying "on the first 30 metres, I run faster than Usain Bolt." German 100m and 200m champion Julian Reus (no relation to Marco) has challenged Aubameyang to a 100m race "to put him back into his place." FYI: J. Reus runs the 100m in 10,39s. Let's see :D

That's kinda silly, Bolt's notoriously not special over the first stretch of the sprint while Auba's burst and initial acceleration is where he shines. I have no doubts aubameyang is in fact faster than Bolt over 30m, doesn't mean he wouldn't get left in the dust over 100m or 200m.

Club World Cup semis tonight, Bayern vs Guangzhou.

The only thing I know about the latter is that Lippi is their coach, not a good omen for a German team, eh?

Would be nice tho to win 5 trophies in less than 7 months.
Wake up, girl. I wanna go surfing.

Did this Chinese team really spend around €180m within the last few years? They're quite lucky that it is only 3:0.

Dario Conca, the striker for Guangzhou (i.e. the guy who got the ball about 4 times in the entire game), has a larger salary then Messi. He must be the most highly-paid NON CAPPED (!!) player in the history of the game :o

i read his salary is $10.4 million, tough, but not more than messi.
but yeah it's the same club that paid dortmund's barrios an uber-salary.
the owner is xu jiayin, real estate billionaire.
