Mavericks- Omer Asik, Metta World Peace

McHale gets his twin towers, STAT is showing his health isn't much of an issue for now, Mavs get an upgrade at Center

then

Knicks- Mareese Speights
Warriors- Raymond Felton and Cole Aldrich

Warriors want a better back up PG, Knicks need front court depth

That deal is disgusting for the Rockets...if they were willing to give up Lin AND Asik for Stat, why not just cut out the Mavericks and keep Asik for ourselves? Man...that deal is just turrible.

Why?

- This trade for the Thunder is all about winning now & improving their bench. Thunder get their 6th man that they've been missing, plus with Sefolosha's departure they get to upgrade Lamb to a starter while not losing anything from the bench. Felton adds an interesting dimension to the Thunder's bench / close out time because they can play Felton & Westbrook together much like Maynor & Westbrook were playing together a couple years ago. Lets get real with Jackson too, Thunder aren't gonna be able to pay him once he hits free agency because some team will look at him as their future PG & overpay him. So might as well get something now.

i'd do that in a heartbeat. it gets jr smith the **** outta here. i do like sef coming back too. i also like jackson, but i don't think he's really a starting caliber PG, at least not pass-first like i would like, or what has proven to be successful (prigs). he is, however, better than felton. i think he was ACC DPOY while at BC.

Also trading melo isnt solution.

He is top 5 player in the league. I dont want rebuilding with dolan. If he goes i'm ok with rebuilding.

the lakers want shump and chandler.

there's not a SINGLE guy i want from their team for shump and chandler. they don't even have any draft picks. i like pau, but not for this team.

how are the knicks NOT trading with the suns right now...dammit.

i know they wanted shump as some point, and alot of us wanted dragic some time ago, times change and players improve and regress.

This kind of post tells you everything you need to know about the Knicks trade prospects. Five options and none of the other teams would do them. The reality is that the Knicks lack trade assets and they are either going to have to ride out the bad deals next year or be on the really bad end of a few deals.

These proposals where the Knicks send out garbage deals and underperforming players for real assets need to stop.

I like Barea, but Shved is serious trash; and Muhammed's probably going to become trash to. JR, right now, is probably Muhammed's ceiling.

Shved isn't as bad as advertised, he's a good playmaker & can actually shoot when he takes good shots.

Barea is having a bad year, but he's been pretty good the last 2. A trade & a starting spot would be perfect for him.

Muhammad, who knows? But you never know. He hasn't really gotten a chance yet, but he's got talent.

Lakers- 3 D'Antoni guys because they aren't going to get much more in the 2014 free agency class
Rockets- 2 better fits to complete their team
Raptors- great trade piece in Asik. Hometown guy in Nash
Knicks- point guard and front court help, rights to a solid talent whom they drafted prior

Moves like that change the direction of your franchise. Look at what Bledsoe's doing with PHX - imagine if you put him with Melo, Bargs, JR, Hardaway, Shump, ect. Sure, you downgrade from Tyson to DeAndre but overall your a better team.
