Nets and Knicks are both willing to trade alot for Kyle Lowry from the Raptors. Will be interesting to see where he ends up.

That twitter feed isnt the only source (its a NBA oriented radio station btw.) Here is a article which says the same thing http://www.newsday.com/sports/basketbal ... um=twitter
Frank Isolas morning tweet also stated they were still in discussions.

My challenge isn't to you personally or the opinion stated but the source itself. Seems like one tht simply parrots other reports and isn't itself credible.

Yeah I understand. Heres Frank Isolas tweet in the morning Frank Isola @FisolaNYDN 11h
Still hearing Knicks are in play for Kyle Lowry but will not trade a first round draft pick. Yes, we've all heard this before.

I suspect that if we would've lost yesterday a trade would have been made.

Did you evn read what was said in the link you posted?
Here's the trade talk portion:
"Until now they have been reluctant to part with their 2018 first-round pick. They see Hardaway as part of the future and they hope to use Shumpert in a bigger deal for more of an impact player. Metta World Peace reportedly could be involved in the Lowry talks, and Sunday was the first day players signed in the offseason could be dealt."
Scarface844 wrote:So? lol, it said words like reluctant, hope, see and reportedly . Nothing is definite and no details have been leaked about new deal from either side. Lets wait and see what happens in the upcoming days.

Huh?

And then tried to back it up by posting a link that said nothing of the sort.

With that my point was regardless of what the Knicks are willing to give up, whats consistent is the fact that its being reported their are still discussions going on about acquiring Lowry.
That's why I said no details have been leaked from either side about a new deal. It makes sense because Dolan was pissed when the details of the first deal were leaked.

But the eye catcher in the tweet was: "Nets and Knicks are both willing to trade alot for Kyle Lowry"
Now that may or may not be true, I don't know.
But the link you posted only said what we already know and nothing more about what could be in play.
If your point was only that there's still discussions between teams, well yeah I'd guess so, wouldn't you?

Yeah, I just posted because some people were saying the trade is no longer happening.

Felton has been a disappointment, averaging 10.3 points and 5.2 assists. He also has been a liability defensively. The Knicks want an upgrade, which is why they've pursued Lowry with Felton being a key piece going to Toronto.
The Raptors want young players, short contracts and a draft pick. It's likely a deal would have been struck if the Knicks included Tim Hardaway Jr. or Iman Shumpert or a first-round pick.
Until now they have been reluctant to part with their 2018 first-round pick. They see Hardaway as part of the future and they hope to use Shumpert in a bigger deal for more of an impact player. Metta World Peace reportedly could be involved in the Lowry talks, and Sunday was the first day players signed in the offseason could be dealt.
The Nets also are in pursuit of Lowry but they don't want to give up a first-round pick either.
