The defense, while having it's down spots, also deserves credit. Campbell threw up a lot of balls...some of them directly to us. And the defense took advantage.

It'd be crazy if we could get into the playoffs and have the defense get (relatively) healthy with Peanut and Briggs back.

Just need Cutler to get Jeffery the ball more...I don't think he was too focused in on Marshall, but he does got to look Jeffery's way more.

I think after that catch Jeffery made he should trust him more. It would be great if he gets that same irrational trust in Jeffrey like he does with Marshall.

Dudes not even making his reads half the time he is deciding to throw to Brandon before the ball is even snapped . On one play he went down to the middle to Brandon with 3 guys on him and Alshon was running free underneath WIDEOPEN even Billick mentioned it.

That kills me with Cutler. Has his mind set on Marshall from the jump. No reads, no going through the progressions, just look for Marshall. Guy has tunnel vision. The TD pass to Alshon and the short route TD to Marshall both were better catches than throws.

i just want him to absolutely kill it the next two games, we need to see that.

Next two games I just want to see Cutler start off hot and not have to 'warm up'. I realize this was a comeback game for him, so I'll ignore his rustiness. Next game there should be no excuses. I'd like to see the offense come out and be as crisp and MORE explosive than it was under McCown.

All in all, they won the game - huge for morale and staying alive. Defense did look better vs. the run - even with the mediocre competition. Guys were actually in position and made tackles. I didn't see WIDE OPEN HOLES for the RB to run through.

Alshon - Beast incarnate. I hope that he and Brandon can have a least a couple more healthy years together. What a duo. Lots of credit to Marshall too for taking Jeffery under his wing.
