Pelicans @ Nuggets

Starting at 6 pm, looks like starters are staying the same for tonight at least.

6 of 17 threes in the first half, too many?

hickson's turn around fade-away rarely works, i don't like it. can't wait for gallo and mcgee to be back so we can start solidifying this team.

Solid win, still started the game like crap, but at least they had got it under control before the half.

I will agree I would love to see what this team looks like with Gallo and Mcgee, but I am afraid they are going to have to figure out a way to either get Fournier back on track or upgrade the SG quickly.

what is it with the start of games? It's unbelievable.

I like that Hickson seems pretty consistent in finished with contact at the rim, that late dunk was solid.
Another great game from Nate. As crazy as it sounds i want to see more of Ty / Nate on the court together. These 2 need to form like Voltron, instead it seems Ty is a bit put off by Nate's energy. Bit sour maybe.

I think it bugs Lawson and a few other guys the way that Nate pounds the ball, the Nuggets last year were all about ball movement, Nate does not really play that way, which is fine when he is hot and others are not, but if he is cold it hurts the team pretty dramatically.

phoenix just won so that puts us tied in 7th place, not that it matters currently. also wondering if shaw will break out the new lineup as mentioned vs the thunder on tuesday.

if hamilton isn't in our future plans, fournier should get some burn. once mcgee and gallo come back, it'll be even a tougher stretch to get him minutes. it'll be interesting to see how shaw will manage rotations.

Starting lineup really needs a change. Wouldn't mind one or both of Hickson and Foye getting replaced. I don't even remember Foye's last good game.

The only SGs I have heard rumors about being available is Derozan, and I don't really think he would be a good fit long term for the Nuggets.

Courtney Lee may be available, and would not be a terrible signing, as he is more of a D 3 guy, but I do not know that the Nuggets would want him considering his last couple of years.

Evan Turner from the 76ers is a SF but could play SG if needed, but I think he is an even worse fit then Derozan as not only can he not really shoot the 3, but he likes to have the ball in his hands a ton.

I would not mind going after someone like Alex Burks, and with Kanter being benched I would not mind trading that Knicks pick and other stuff to get those 2 if they could get them. I think they both are better players than they have shown this year in Utah, but don't know what it would really take.

Afflalo is off to a great start this season. Imagine if we still had him and our own 1st round pick this year.

Afflalo is playing great this year, the problem is that I think the Magic want to keep him, and if they were to trade him the asking price would be too high for him at this point.

Yeah I agree, I'm not advocating trading for Afflalo at this point. I'd hate to have to give away someone like Faried or Chandler to get him back.

What about Mayo? I haven't been following him too closely this season but I still like his shooting and ball handling. Not sure what it would take to get him though.

Mayo would be okay to get, but he is overpaid and just signed with the Bucks, not sure they would look to move him even as bad as they have been.

What about one of the Celtics guards, every Bradley or jordan Crawford?

Those guys potential could be available when rondo comes back as they are expiring contracts and have a lot of depth at guard

Shannon Brown ...... Rip Hamilton.......

probably more Rip than Shannon.....

edit - my reasoning for Rip is his role playing at this point would be perfect for all these young players, still gives you the scoring we need to stretch the floor, and even if he's lost a step like I said his shot is deadly

Billups was surprised no one has signed him yet given how he looked in the summer .....hint hint Nuggets

Hamilton is not a bad idea, if he is healthy and can get his shot back, he looked pretty bad those last couple of years in Chicago.

Brown is not someone I am all that interested in, poor defender, and poor outside shooter, to me he is a poor man's Nate Robinson, only taller.

the only Celtics player I could see being traded, and he was rumored to be available a few weeks ago is courtney Lee, who I would not mind.

Bradley is a guy they reportedly love, and Jordan crawford while starting off well this year hot is not a guy that you can really depend on to keep it up so I am sure the celtics will want more then he is really worth on the market.

I would think the environment would be rejuvenating for Rip, that's the only reason why I would want to take a shot with him.
