how in the hell did that 89 team not make the playoffs?

looks like a good team to me.
we need this win.

one things for sure....win or lose....we better be the aggressors and the more intense/ hungry team.
if we come out flat in this game....i'm going to be very pissed off from the top down.

Needed win but not suspected. It would go a long way to start catching up to the top 3.

injuries... harper that year was a legitimate bonafide superstar, and we struggled early on as any young team that was in transition would, as norm nixon was leaving the clips and Gary Grant was given the key to the Clipper roster as "the guy", as our PG, and manning was coming off his rookie year, and reggie williams was on his way to ruin his own career the way michael beasley had done in first 3 years of his career. the year before, Kenny the Snake Norman was our #1 option, and in 89, he had become our 3rd best forward. benoit benjamin was the original version of Michael Olawakandi before Mike O even picked up his first basketball. we didn't have a chance once Harper was hurt. then to make matters worse, Gary Grant was hurt. then our season was over.
ehhhhh f it.

This game will show how ready we are mentally to be considered as one of the top teams in the west.

we beat them twice early on last year.
they kicked our teeth in the 1st game out of the all star break.
and then Duncan hit a lucky one in DJ's face to win the last on in SAS....i mean the Spurs run that all the time...but I just thought it was lucky because of how it was defended.

this team can be beat.

With the injuries its hard to imagine holding this win unless Paul AND Griffin go superstar mode. Crawford starting should give us a boost but we should get almost nothing from the bench scoring wise. Griffin has to look to dominate and get his often.

I agree, that's why I think we aren't winning this. Hope Griffin doesn't choke tonight

Going to be a really tough game, our rotations have to be on point because Tony Parker seems to get by Paul pretty often.

BEAUTIFUL EARLY

vinny had no way to stop tony parker.
he's not turning corners today and it makes a hell of a lot of a difference.
