I think one of the things that confuses me the most about Sheridan is how he tries to rationalize some of his trade scenarios. Like when we were supposedly actively shopping MKG, he assumed that meant we were targetting Barnes, another sophomore SF.

Similarly, in this piece he mentions that the Sixers have both their center of now (Hawes) as well as of the future (Noel), and then surmises from this information that the Sixers should target Asik.

Has the guy that wrote that watched the Cats play this year? Biz is no bust. Asik ain't backing up Grampa Al. That guy is talking out of his anular crevace.

in the summer we had the rumors from sheridan hoops that MKG was on the block, now we ford mentioning MKG is on the block. i guess its time for us to accept reality that cho is definitely listening to (and perhaps initiating) talks about MKG.

ugh

If they really want to win now, I can see them going for that Bulls deal.

I hate it.

Nope, Biz has solidified his status to "reach."

I don't buy into the MKG trade chatter. We brought in Mark Price for this guy, then signed his favorite player to sit on the bench (waiving Southerland to do so).

MKG and Gordon for Deng and Dumbleavy.

Bulls reload for next year.

We become the playoff team that MJ desperately wants .

Kemba, Sessions
Hendo, Taylor
Deng, Dumbo
Dayman, Zeller
Al, Biz

Spacing would still be a bit of an issue, although Dungleavy can shoot and Deng is a big improvement over MKG

That would make Charlotte worst now, and for the future. Chicago isn't necessarily guns blazing offensively with those two on the roster

the trade sheridan hoops suggested is one of the most ridiculous trades i have ever seen

asik for MKG, biz and pistons #1. thats absurd. completely and utterly absurd. asik is better than biz, but he isnt MKG and a top 15 pick better than biz. in fact, MKG alone as equal or more value than asik in my eyes. plus, asis makes no sense next to jefferson, because we all know jefferson cant play away from the paint defensively and neither can asik. and if you think asik was pissed about backing up howard, just how will he react to backing up jefferson? not good, thats how.

only way cats are involved would be if a third team is also involved or if we were getting more than just asik back, such as a deal that also included parsons.

Yeah I'm refusing to believe.

Cho's best work has been with trades. I can't see him selling off assets and losing so badly.

For the record I don't like that Bulls trade at all, I was just trying to play devils advocate and figure out what trade this team could be considering if they want to win now.

I'm starting to kind of believe that Rich Cho might very well indeed be involved in the trade talks with the Rockets & Omer Asik, but I don't think inquiry is about Asik coming to Charlotte, and neither does it implicate MKG no longer wearing a Bobcats uniform. However, it does entail Houston receiving the two 1st rounders that they sought out for in exchange of Asik in a 3-team trade

CHA in: Jeff Green, Keith Bogans
CHA out: Ben Gordon, Jeff Taylor, POR 1st rounder (top 12 protected)
*Charlotte get instant offensive help in Green that'll help their playoff aspirations

HOU in: Ben Gordon, BKN 1st rounder (w/ ATL rights to swap), POR 1st rounder (top 12 protected)
HOU out: Omer Asik, Ronnie Brewer
*Houston get the two 1st rounders they sought out for in exchange for Asik & cap flexibility in Gordon's expiring

Courtney Lee would be more preferable in a case where Cho could persuade them into it, which is entirely possible, but I just went with the worst case scenario where Boston would be ultra-desperate to expend Keith Bogans' contract
