I want everyone to get on record so half the board can have bragging rights over the other half by the time the Thursday or Friday announcement rolls around

Edit: voted yes btw (based on being a deluded optimist)

How would Rodgers not play after this game. If the Lions lose tomorrow there's no excuses and no risk out weighs the reward of making the playoffs.

Lets just be honest here. We had Favre for about 20 years and than Rodgers. After Rodgers retires we are going to be Milwaukee Bucks bad for like the next 20 years. Lets not waste a chance at the playoffs for anything.

Except that's not the issue, if it was at all up to Rodgers he would have played this week, period. The decision is 100% up to the doctors, that's why no one truly knows what's gonna happen as far as him playing next week, not even people in the organization.

And come on man, gtfo with that bs about being the bucks after Rodgers leaves. I heard the same crap from packers fans around 2004-2005 about the post-favre packers and that's what it is, crap. As long as this team continues to be one of the best managed in the NFL we will never wallow in mediocrity or worse like the bucks.

Is that a personal guarantee? If it is I love it, I don't even have the balls to give a guarantee now that its clear Rodgers has basically zero say (as much as I'd love to). I'd also like to hear from any no votes, I'm curious as to the rationale especially if a doctor like midranger weighs in on the negative side...

Don't think he plays. I figure I wont be disappointed that way... Plus these Doctors don't seem willing to let him play.

I feel strongly that he will play. Who knows for sure with those docs though. It just seems like everyone and their brother was convinced he'd be a go for Dallas, so he's gotta be so close.

Don't think they will let him play. That goes for next week too.

My gut says no. I think Flynn playing well gives them more comfort in giving Rodgers at least one more week to get back to 100%.

I voted yes, but its not an overly confident yes.

Woodson missed 9 weeks when he broke his. McKenzie seems overly cautious.

So just for the sake of clarity, if he is medically cleared to play this weekend however, youre against sitting him so we can tank for a better draft pick right?

What's the point of "getting on record" about his availability? It's not a matter of opinion. No one should gloat based on the result. It's entirely a matter of a medical diagnosis none of us are privy to.

There's no point. I just was personally curious as to the feeling of the board as a whole and thought others might be as well. I honestly wasn't sure if more people were of the feeling he would be back this week or if more people were thinking he wouldn't be back. If u think its stupid dont vote. I find it very interesting to know that people on here think he's going to play by a 2-1 margin over those who don't believe he will play. I guess u don't care. Fair enough.

Edit: plus I mean everyone else in the local and national media is guessing as to if he's gonna be back, why shouldn't we do the same here? And btw if anybody actually gloats about the outcome of a freaking medical decision in anything besides a joking way then they are dumb, but I sincerely doubt anyone will do that if that's your concern...

I'm going with no. There have been no indications that the break is improving. If there was good news last week, like he was close, I'd say yes, but nothing has come out like that.

And I was being entirely serious wasn't I? Come on man I know it's the Internet but it can't be that hard to tell a joking comment made to hype up a thread I made and to try to goad people into voting. Are u really serious right now??? Lol

Edit: and I literally meant "vote or die" too right?

Honestly HR you're being kind of a party pooper right now. Polls on here don't even tell u which posters voted for what! Which poster is really gonna try to brag about the outcome of the medical exam on wednesday when there's no point to doing it and there's not even a record of how people voted? (Besides maybe like Godgers that is, lol). It's just for fun man, isn't this board supposed to be fun? The Packers are on an incredible roll right now, lets try to enjoy it and not take everything so seriously...

Oh my goodness. So, because I think the premise of this thread is silly, I'm all of a sudden a "party pooper" who takes "everything so seriously?"

I think you may need to take a break from the board for a bit if you define having a good time as starting threads on a message board.
