No that trade is horrible, even tho we are trading away mcgee and his contract in this, fields contract is way worse and Fournier is cheap and is only 20

No, that trade is terrible for the Nuggets, Mcgee is overpaid, and a little dumb on the court, but he was a productive player last year, and should be again this year when healthy, I am all for trading him, but the last thing the Nuggets need is a terrible SG on an even worse contract.

What if it was Randolph and the '15 1st? Or maybe with Chuck Hayes (via tpe) instead? I didn't see Landry Fields has a contract jump to 8.5m in his second year, that changes things.

No I would rather find out what the Nuggets have with McGee and fournier then to dump them for either a back up big or a declining pf that has a history of problems.

rumors are out there that Shaw is thinking about making a starting lineup change, personally I think foye and one of faried or Hickson need to be brought off the bench, we need more production from the sg slot, and our interior defense is terrible to start the game.

Ham and Moz will probably start with Chandler, Lawson and Faried. That's what I would like to see.

wasn't one of the reasons Igoudala wanted to leave the Nuggets and join the warriors was that the guys on the Nuggets did not care enough about winning or something to that effect?

Looks like the Warriors coaches think the warriors don't care enough to even bother winning games.

Hilarious ending to the Knicks game tonight. Woodson clearly has no idea what he's doing. Now Prigioni is out for the next few weeks and they're basically out of PGs.

Yeah I was able to watcht the last minute on LP............ Melo was basically walking the ball up the court down 1 with under 5 seconds left,
Also a lot of confusion on that inbound at the end

I think Jackson just isn't a very good coach. That rah rah college **** worked in their first playoffs ever but that is not a way to motivate professional athletes long term. Sounds like they've tuned him out, and nothing would make me happier than to see him be exposed as a fraud. I'm sorry Mark, Jesus really doesn't care whether or not your team wins.

So Chandler is still not back, Felton is out for a few weeks, Prigioni their back up PG out at least 2 weeks, and now this.

I almost feel bad for Knicks fans, but damn is that pick looking good.

figured the warriors would have TO problems.

i think currys ballhandling and pure-pg decision making is suspect, and when jack's not there to take the pressure off/run the offense...it'll always be an issue. and iguodala's "jump in the air and pass at the last second" decision making isn't exactly the answer.

Anyone know when Iguodala is supposed to come back from that injury? I've got tickets to our game vs GS next week and I was hoping to boo the **** out of him.

Fournier seems to be getting frustrated.
Evan Fournier has been the odd man, often out, in the Nuggets' guard rotation. The 21-year-old Frenchman didn't play at all in the two previous games before he was on the floor for 13 minutes in Denver's Tuesday night home loss to Oklahoma City. In 21 games with the Nuggets this season, he has averaged 12 minutes.

"I feel pretty good. Unfortunately, we lost the game (Tuesday). But I shot the ball pretty good except on the layups, but I just need to find my rhythm," Fournier said after practice Wednesday. "I'm just trying to notice what the coaches say at practice and warm-up and everything, but they didn't talk to me like one-on-one. Not yet.

This quote right here has me a little concerned with shaw as a head coach, he only wants fournier to hit shots and play defense, which is no where close to Fournier's game, he is a shot creator, a guy who can slash and find the open man, which is something this team is missing when Lawson is off the court. I understand the whole purpose of using a jumpshot to spread the floor, but why are they not trying to get open shots at the rim for Mozgov, faried, and company?
"When he does get in the game, the one thing I want him to be is a shot maker," Shaw said. "I think his other instincts are good enough so if he gets in the lane, he can find people and drop off passes and things like that. Defensively, he still has to get better, but I want him to make shots. Our two guard position, between him and Randy, has struggled all season long making shots, and that's always what I'm searching for when I make that substitution.

Good break down of the interior problems for the Nuggets.

So.....Evan is just JHam part 2? There should be some differentiation, like focus on getting to the rim then finding the open man. Shaw makes it sound like a second priority...

I agree, if Shaw had said that Evan is having problems with confidence and on the defensive end, then okay I can understand benching him. If Shaw had said they are working with Fournier to help him earn more minutes, than I can understand that I guess. But to say he is not playing because he is not hitting enough jumpshots, is ridiculous.
