That was awesome. I love them getting gut punched at the end instead of getting blown out. I was reading the Lions forum and laughing my head off. They hate Schwartz and they don't think Stafford is all that great either, just puts up numbers. But you all already knew that.

Actually, the best thing Raji can do is to stop getting pushed out of his gap so often on running plays the next two weeks.

What shocks me most about this is Schwartz not using any of his freaking timeouts!

If he had called one right when the Ravens ran that run play, they would have had the ball back with about 1:20 on the clock instead of 38 second, and still 2 timeouts - that's a massive difference, especially when you only need a FG.

This dude is the worst coach in the league - I hope they give him an extension this off-season!

What's a good Lions forum? I remember it being posted here a year or two ago. I need some fun reading this morning.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Priceless.

I love #87 just saying "WHAT?!?" with a confused look on his face. Lmfao

I love the guy right behind Schwartz, uncovered when the other coach moves up, going "Oh my..." and the guy on the far right also wearing sweats, bug-eyed and looking side-to-side with his hands on his head. Hilarious.

What a kick!!!

Megatron's reaction is pretty good too.

I like Reggie Bush in the lower right corner at the last second with the double cell phone hands.

What did we learn from this week in the NFL? Romo is going to Romo and the Lions will always choke.

The gif was good but if we're talking field goal reaction gifs, nothing will ever beat the misplaced cockiness of Jeremy Shockey. Cheers

It's crazy how we're even in this yet and then can control our own destiny on top of it. And the 3 seed is not out of the realm of possibility either. My biggest thing is don't overlook the Steelers. Everybody is on cloud 9 right now but they aren't going to be a pushover and could potentially still have Wild Card hopes if Miami loses at Buffalo. Even if Rodgers comes back, you're going to expect some rust after not playing in over a month.

Edit: best post I've read so far- "At the very least Linehan needs to be gone, the sooner the better. Schwartz can clean out his office soon too.

Right now I hope Green Bay and Chicago win next week so I can say **** all to this sorry collection of f*cksticks."

Second edit: heres a direct link to the "at what point will you a*sholes all just start to believe" thread:

Yeah, we may control our own destiny, but these last two games will be very, very tough with or with out Rodgers. I'm particularly nervous about Marshall and Jeffery against Chicago.

Agreed. Still a long way to go before we make it in. I also am worried about the Steelers, they know how to handle cold weather, they're very well coached, they're finally relatively stable from a health standpoint and they actually looked really tough last weekend. And, as mentioned, i don't know how the h*ll we're going to cover Marshall and jeffery, hopefully Cutler is in full Cutler mode...

I hear you. My gut just says the Bears are going to win that one, but their D is vulnerable and Cutler is prone to the mistakes so you never know.

If we beat Pittburgh (and that will be tough), I like our chances against Chicago. Conceptually, they have a dynamic offense with Forte, Bennett, Marshall, and Jeffrey. But, they're also saddled with a QB who is historically turnover prone.

In the same vein, they remind of teams like Dallas and Detroit. Great weapons on one side of the ball, but they have a tendency to make catastrophic mistakes at the worst possible times.

That doesn't even begin to address the fact that the Bears have wilted against the Packers in big moments - Week 17 and the NFC Title Game in the Super Bowl season.

It will be a helluva matchup. I just hope we beat Pittsburgh so the game has meaning for us.

From FO:

The health of Aaron Rodgers makes a huge difference here. As an experiment, we ran separate batches of 50,000 simulations: One batch used Green Bay's weighted DVOA as it stands right now (minus-9.6 percent) to simulate Rodgers remaining out for the final two games; the other batch used Green Bay's weighted DVOA at the time of Rodgers' injury (11.9 percent) to simulate him returning for the final two games. In the scenario where Rodgers doesn't come back, Chicago's probability of winning the NFC North is 61 percent, and Green Bay's is only 19 percent. In the scenario where he comes back this week, however, Chicago is only a 51 percent favorite, and Green Bay's chances jump to 32 percent.

In short, ownership of the NFC North division title shifts 23 percentage points based simply on whether Rodgers plays again this season.
