I'm glad Big Al seems to be making some slight, tiny amount of progress.

Also: no doubt Rick Bonnell an A-hole, but some of you guys really harass him on Twitter way, way too much. It ceases to be funny when almost every tweet he posts, even a "Bobcats struggling from FT line again," is met with something like "LOL Bonnell is struggling with women again, what a loser."

No wonder he blocks you. It's harassment. I can't believe I just defended Rick Bonnell.

This.

I don't know how can a well-known person even handle being on twitter. Either you don't check your mentions from unknown people or you just have to get involved. Even the seemingly laid-back Zach Lowe gets in silly arguments daily just because people take something he said out of context, don't understand a joke he made or simply act like douches.

It's twitter folks. What you gonna do. Here's a suggestion...don't tweet.

Yeah it's twitter, who cares.

That said it is a useful tool for sports fans so it's damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Bonnell wants to be famous though and probably actually thinks he is.

Considering we discuss him extensively on the internet he may be right.

Maybe everyone should block him instead and the Observer will get the idea.

Bonnell is an arrogant idiot who treats his readers like garbage 75% of the time.

But you harass him multiple times every single day, dude. If somebody was a Twitter heckler for everything you said, you'd block them. That wouldn't make you an arrogant idiot, would it?

I agree that Bonnell is arrogant. I know he is. But some people just troll the hell out of him on Twitter and it gets on my nerves. I go onto his account for analysis, and every tweet is met with some stupid insults. If people on here said things 1/10 as mean as they do on Twitter, a lot of these posters would be banned quickly.

I don't harass him. He can't even see my tweets. That isn't harassment. Its just mere stupidity by me, but I could frankly care less.

He blocked me because I told him last season that Biyombo was more than a "hard worker" which he constantly mentioned. I got a direct message from him saying nothing but "blocked". Thats childish from a beat writer and pissed me off.

I've harassed Bonnell plenty. Enjoyed every bit of it.

Looks like there's gonna be some growing pains while Cliff figures out how to incorporate Al into a team that was winning on chemistry and energy.

Nice game tonight for Big Al. Definitely looked like too much to handle for Henson. I always heard great things about his pump fake but it is truly elite. You could see the confidence grow for him the further the game went, only a matter of time before he's producing 20/10 on a nightly basis
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

25 minutes of play, 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and a blocked shot. Plus/minus of +21.

Every coach in the league would kill to get that kind of production from the center position.

I liked the distribution of minutes. Big Al is a fourth quarter, I'm-gonna-back-you-down-in-the-paint kind of guy. Last night they had the smaller cats run the deer tired, and then they brought in the lion to tear the buck apart.

I hope Al keeps this up for you guys. I'd love to hee him succeed in Charlotte.

For all the crap people give him about his defense, he truly is an elite scorer in the post, probably top 3 in the league. I can't wait till he's fully healthy.

No doubt, his post moves are a thing of beauty. His one handed baby hook shot is orgasmic.

Cousins was bustin' his ass tonight and he wasn't offering no rim protection. Even little Isaiah Thomas was laying him up. The best thing that happened was him fouling out.

Don't be ridiculous. Very few players can slow down DMC in the post. Big Al offers avenues to score even if he does give up something on defense.

Getting anyone of talent to sign with Charlotte is not easy, so for Big Al to step in and help a young team, all of us should be grateful as hell.

He may have struggled this game, but who won on the scoreboard? Big Al's team. He may not take over games, but he is a solid contributor. Right now, that's all we can ask for as our team matures.

I'm just venting my frustrations with him. I'm not asking for him to be traded or anything like that at all. He's been a luxury for us to have in the post as a go-to player even if he miss over half the time. It's better secondary option to Kemba than watching Hendo shoot 20 fadeaways a game. I'm very grateful to have him on our team. I had to witness Mullens last year so you better believe I'm appreciative of Jefferson. I just want to see a better effort out of him.

No reason to hate this signing. Overpaid? Sure. But it sure is nice having a low post man who can actually make a hook shot or lay up.
