He's more Ryan Anderson than Dirk, IMO.

He is way more complete than Anderson (and i don't think he'll ever base his game on launching 8 threes every night). Really, if he lives up to his promise, watch out.

I like the Hawes possibility....as a part of a bigger deal not just him. It's rumored that Hawes, Turner and Young are all available. With that said, I would look at a bigger deal to get a minimum of 2 of those players. My preferred would be Hawes and Young. I love what Frye has done this year and his career, but Young could take his place in the starting line-up with Hawes as Plumlee's back-up. To get those two, we'd most likely have to give up at least one of the twins (to match salary) unless they'd take Okafor, Len and a couple picks. I'd even go as far as Frye, Okafor, Len, Green, and picks for all 3 of Hawes, Turner, Young

Sounds like the Tony Kukoc story all over again.

I don't believe the news coming out of Boston that they're willing to move Green for Asik in a 3-teamer, but I have to hope that if they are, we're getting in on it.

If the Rockets covet picks coming pack their way, we can provide it. Jeff Green would be an excellent fit here.

We don't need Jeff Green and his fat contract at all.

We don't need 99% of what's being talked about on this board. We have a great rotation with energy, youth, versatility, all spots covered, on good contracts. Yet half the board wants to pick up a traditional low post 4 or upgrade the 3 or 5 spot. If his name ain't Kevin Love or Gordon Hayward, we don't need him.

Jeff Green and Marcus Morris are similar type of SF.

Need a shooter / play maker type...

Hayward... Make it happen McD!

You guys gotta be on crack. If all the Suns had to give up for Jeff Green (I still don't believe Boston is dumping him) was something like Gerald Green and Ind/Min 1st's I'd do it in a second.

That's a huge upgrade for the Suns.

Ideally prime Rasheed Wallace would make the Suns a contender...

Who is closest to Rasheed in the NBA?

1. He would cost significantly more than this package.
2. He's an upgrade over whom? Jeff Green and Marcus Morris are basically the same player. LINK

The current Rashweed Wallace comparison would be LaMarcus Aldridge (MINUS the over abundance of Technical fouls and overall bad attitude), and there's no way in hell we get him away from Portland.

I was gonna say, we already have someone who's pretty damn close style-wise to Rasheed Wallace.

Now if Markieff can put it all together and be consistently like that, that'd be awesome.

Rasheed could contain KG and Duncan in their prime.. (not stop but prevent them from going berserk)

And he could nail the 3 consistently..
