Wojo has spoken. Once that happens, there can be no denials.

There are some problems with the deal, one being that danny doesn't want to include a first round pick, and that the rockets disagree about which players they would receive. Not sure who, just that those are the two issues that need to be worked out to make a deal happen

Solid deal for both teams. Houston needs perimeter d, and Bass can guard guys like LeBron, Melo & Durant, while Lee can backup Harden @ the 2...

Boston gets a much needed rim protector, opens up minutes for Olynyk, and trims the last year of Lee's deal...

So basically the whole framework of the deal needs to be worked out? Ha.

Asik will never ever have had it so easy offensively.

You mean like Perk would have if he didn't drop the ball to his ankles for dunk attempts.

Would love this actually, getting rid of Lee's third year is excellent.

Lee's deal is bad, but Bass is a solid two way player, only on the books for 2 seasons that could help any number of front courts accross the league

I like the situation if this is the deal in place and they are searching for something else.. means DA isnt trying to beat another offer, he is the fall back.. if we end up making it happen, we'll get good value

Also interesting to see if Bass (and Lee) suit up tonight, that'll be the confirmation

Hearing from sources, this deal has real legs, and the secondary back checking of facts also comes back real...as far as bass/lee/pick

Also hearing from primary source without back checking , is that Danny is trying to AVOID including one of our first rounders.

Trying to confirm other rumors, not worth posting until legit.

Good stuff, thanks LBF

Meanwhile with Holmes and Bulpett both saying nothing is doing (regardless of Woj's certainty), we'll find out how much the 'sources' coming out of the Celtics are actually worth

although could just be trying to keep it under wraps

The only difference between Mark Blount and Omer Asik is that Asik will be paid a crazy $15,000,000.00 next year.

It would be better for Boston to keep their draft picks and overpay Humphries and give him $15,000,000.00 if they want to do something foolish.

Why would anyone want to give away a draft pick so Houston can save money? Assuming Boston then gives Asik a new contract after next season, why would anyone want to kill any chance of salary cap space to sign future free agents by spending that money on Asik?

What about the money we give away? 7m/2y and 6m/3y I think.
